Abstract: An electrochemical device of the present invention includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The positive electrode includes a positive current collector containing aluminum, a positive electrode material layer containing a conductive polymer, and an aluminum oxide layer disposed on a surface of the positive current collector. The aluminum oxide layer contains fluorine.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing an electrochemical device includes the following steps: a step of preparing a positive electrode, the positive electrode including a first current collector and a positive electrode layer containing a conductive polymer; a step of preparing a negative electrode, the negative electrode including a second current collector and a negative electrode layer; and a step of sealing the positive electrode, the negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution in an exterior body. The step of preparing the positive electrode includes a step of holding the positive electrode in depressurized atmosphere and then introducing gas containing CO2 as a primary component into the depressurized atmosphere.

Abstract: An electrochemical device positive electrode with a lead member includes a positive electrode and a lead member attached to the positive electrode. The positive electrode includes a positive current collector, a carbon layer, and an active layer. The carbon layer is disposed on a surface of the positive current collector, and contains a conductive carbon material. The active layer is supported by the positive current collector via the carbon layer disposed between the active layer and the positive current collector, and contains a conductive polymer. The lead member is in contact with the carbon layer.

Abstract: A capacitor electrode includes a substrate having electrical conductivity, a conductive layer formed on a surface of the substrate, and an electrode layer formed on the conductive layer. The electrode layer is allowed to adsorb and desorb ions on a surface thereof. The conductive layer contains flake graphite. A density of the conductive layer is greater than 1.1 g/cm3. Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a capacitor excellent in reliability, of which charge-discharge characteristics are hardly deteriorated. The capacitor of the present invention includes: a capacitor element including a positive electrode and a negative electrode; and a case that stores the capacitor element together with an electrolytic solution, wherein at least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode contains activated carbon, and a sum of volumes per unit weight of pores having a pore diameter of from 30 Å to 100 Å inclusive among pores of the activated carbon is 0.2 cm3/g or more.
