Abstract: An electronic device includes a case, a device element housed in the case, and a filling resin with which the case is filled so as to embed the device element in the filling resin. The device element includes a fixing portion that fixes the device element to the case. The case has a support portion that supports the fixing portion, the support portion having an upper surface which faces a lower surface of the fixing portion. The fixing portion and the support portion are in contact with each other at two contact portions A non-contact region where the fixing portion and the support portion are not in contact with each other is provided between the lower surface and the upper surface. At least a part of lower surface is inclined with respect to a bottom surface of the case. The non-contact region is embedded in the filling resin.

Abstract: Film capacitor is formed by winding first metal layer, first film, second metal layer, and second film that are in a stacked state in this order. In film surfaces of first and second films, an orientation angle α of first film and an orientation angle β of second film are different in sign from each other when a sign of the orientation angle which represents rotation from reference direction RD to one of both end surfaces is defined to be positive, and the sign of the orientation angle which represents rotation from reference direction RD to another of both end surfaces is defined to be negative. Here, the orientation angle is defined by an acute angle between an orientation main axis MA between reference direction RD parallel to first and second end surfaces when portions of first and second films facing each other through second metal layer are viewed in a direction perpendicular to the film surfaces.

Abstract: A rear bus bar includes a rear electrode connecting part connected to an upper end electrode of a capacitor element, and a rear overlapping part is led out upward from a rear electrode connecting part at a position overlapping with the upper end electrode. A front bus bar includes a front electrode connecting part connected to a lower end electrode of the capacitor element, a first relay part, and a second relay part extending along the upper end electrode, and a front overlapping part is led out upward from the second relay part. An insulation module includes a first insulating part interposed between the front overlapping part and the rear overlapping part, and a second insulating part interposed between the upper end electrode and the second relay part.

Abstract: A film capacitor includes: a capacitor element in which a metallikon electrode is formed at an end; a bus bar connected to the metallikon electrode; and a holding member having a slit into which the bus bar is inserted, the slit being formed with protrusions. The bus bar inserted into the slit is press-contacted with the protrusions, and as a result, the bus bar is held by the holding member. With this configuration, relative mounting accuracy (positioning accuracy) of positive and negative electrode bus bars is improved, and further, the bus bars can be easily connected to the capacitor elements.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a capacitor includes a step of forming a case integrated with a terminal unit designed to be connected with an external terminal, and a step of housing a capacitor element in the case so that the terminal unit is electrically connected to the capacitor element. The step of forming the case includes heating a metal mold to a temperature less than or equal to a glass transition temperature of a thermoplastic resin that is a material for the case. The metal mold internally has a mold part that is a hollow part having a shape of the case. And the step of forming the case further includes, after the heating of the metal mold and inserting the terminal unit into the mold part, injecting the thermoplastic resin in a molten state into the mold part of the metal mold.

Abstract: A capacitor includes a plurality of capacitor element units, a case housing the plurality of capacitor element units, a filling resin in the case, and an external connection bus bar. Each of the plurality of capacitor element units includes a capacitor element and a relay bus bar. The capacitor element has two end surfaces and a peripheral surface, and an electrode disposed on at least one of the two end surfaces. The relay bus bar includes an electrode connecting part connected to the electrode and a connection terminal disposed to face the peripheral surface. The external connection bus bar includes an internal connection terminal connected to the connection terminal and an external connection terminal being exposed from the filling resin and configured to connect to an external terminal. The plurality of capacitor element units are arrayed in the case along a first direction parallel to a bottom surface of the case.

Abstract: A case-mold-type capacitor includes a capacitor element, first and second bus bars connected to the first and second electrodes of the capacitor element, a case accommodating the capacitor element and the first and second bus bars, and a mold resin filling the case therein. The case has a cutaway portion provided therein. A sealing plate joined to the case so as to seal the cutaway portion. The first and second bus bars pass through the sealing plate and are fixed to the sealing plate. The case-mold-type capacitor improves dimensional accuracy between terminal portions of the first and second bus bars without increasing material cost, and has high reliability.
