A prediction device includes a state detector that detects a state related to sleepiness of a driver; an eye-closure duration detector that detects an eye-closure duration of the driver; and a microsleep predictor that predicts that the driver is in the microsleep state, on conditions that the state detector detects the state related to the sleepiness of the driver and that the eye-closure duration detector detects the eye-closure duration that is no shorter than a first duration and no longer than a second duration.

A peripheral information obtaining unit, a road information obtaining unit, and a communication unit which are included in a driving environment obtaining unit obtain information indicating a current state of a drive environment. A driver information obtaining unit and a vehicle information obtaining unit which are included in a driving state obtaining unit obtain information indicating a driving state of a current driver. A display controller controls at least one of a display position and a display timing of a guidance sign to be displayed on a display unit, based on at least one of the pieces of information which are output from the driving environment obtaining unit, the driving state obtaining unit, and a route guiding unit.

An image processing device includes: a first obtainer that obtains a captured image from an imaging device that captures a view in front of a vehicle; a second obtainer that obtains a remaining distance to a next guide point; an image processor that performs image processing on a specified region, in the captured image, corresponding to a position distanced by the remaining distance; and an output unit that outputs the captured image processed by the image processor, wherein the image processor controis an edge strength of a subject in the specified region, in accordance with the remaining distance.
Abstract:
A video output device according to the present disclosure synthesizes a plurality of videos into a video to be displayed. The video output device includes image processing unit and output unit. The image processing unit extracts a plurality of reference frames from any one reference video selected from the plurality of the videos captured by an imaging unit, and extracts a corresponding frame, most similar to a respective one of the reference frames, from each of the videos excluding the reference video. The output unit outputs a synthesized frame which image processing unit synthesizes from the each of the reference frame and the corresponding frame.

An estimation apparatus includes: an image information obtainer that obtains image information of a captured image of a driver; a first detector that detects face information indicating facial behavior of the driver, based on the image information; a first reliability calculator that calculates first reliability; a second detector that detects body information indicating body movement of the driver, based on the image information; a second reliability calculator that calculates second reliability; a weight setter that, when the face information and the body information are detected, sets a first weight corresponding to the face information and a second weight corresponding to the body information based on the first reliability and the second reliability; and an estimator that estimates drowsiness of the driver based on the face information weighted by the first weight and the body information weighted by the second weight.
