Abstract: When a use range of an SOC (State Of Charge) of a secondary battery is expanded, the use range of the SOC is expanded by increasing an upper limit value or decreasing a lower limit value of the use range of the SOC. The increasing the upper limit value or decreasing the lower limit value of the use range of the SOC is determined to a side causing a smaller increase in a degradation rate of the secondary battery, based on at least one of a cycle degradation characteristic that defines a cycle degradation rate in accordance with the use range of the SOC and a current rate of the secondary battery and a storage degradation characteristic that defines a storage degradation rate in accordance with the SOC and a temperature of the secondary battery, and a typical use condition of the secondary battery based on a use history of the secondary battery.

Abstract: A vehicle headlamp includes a plurality of light emitting elements; a plurality of first lenses; and a plurality of second lenses. A first incident surface of the first lens faces the light-emitting element, and guides a light beam from the light-emitting element to a radiation port. A second incident surface of the first lens guides a light beam not passing through the first incident surface to a direction toward the outer periphery of the first lens. A first reflection surface of the first lens reflects a light beam from the second incident surface to guide the light beam to the radiation port.

Abstract: A charger information holding unit of a management system holds an identification information item and charging efficiencies of a plurality of chargers for charging an electric vehicle, the identification information item and the charging efficiencies being associated with each other. A communication unit of the management system receives an identification information item on a charger from an electric vehicle connected to the charger, via a network. A creating unit of the management system creates a charging plan for the electric vehicle, based on a required charging amount and a target charging termination time. The creating unit of the management system refers to the charger information holding unit and determines a charging efficiency of the charger connected to the electric vehicle, based on the received identification information item, and creates a charging plan with the charging efficiency of the charger. The communication unit of the management system transmits the created charging plan to the electric vehicle via the network.

Abstract: A lighting device includes a light emitting element; a first lens that captures and emits light generated by the light emitting element; and a second lens that captures light emitted from the first lens and emits the light in a predetermined direction. Abstract: An input part sets either a charge time zone or a discharge time zone. A first firmware storage part stores first firmware defining all operation contents of a power supply device. An acquiring part acquires second firmware that is firmware for update, and a second firmware storage part stores the second firmware. A controller refers to the charge time zone, the discharge time zone and the like received from the input part to extract a first time zone in which neither the charge time zone nor the discharge time zone is set. The controller preferentially sets timing for updating firmware in the first time zone.

Abstract: A small and thin lighting device with high efficiency and good design and a headlight for a vehicle. Abstract: An optical multiplexer includes: an incident surface on which incident light beams having different wavelengths are to be incident; a reflection portion configured to reflect the incident light beams; and an emission surface configured to emit reflected light beams reflected by the reflection portion. The incident surface has adjacent condenser lenses corresponding to the respective incident light beams. The reflection portion has adjacent reflection surfaces configured to reflect the respective incident light beams which have been condensed. The adjacent reflection surfaces are respectively disposed so that angle β formed by the respective reflected light beams reflected by the adjacent reflection surfaces is smaller than angle α formed by the respective incident light beams which have been condensed. The emission surface has diffraction grating in which the respective reflected light beams reflected by the adjacent reflection surfaces are to be incident at a same position and diffracted in a same direction.
