Abstract: An illumination apparatus includes: a case having an opening portion; a light source disposed in the case and including a plurality of light-emitting elements; a light diffuser which is disposed in the opening portion, and diffuses and transmits light emitted from the plurality of light-emitting elements; and a controller that controls light emission from the light source. The controller: controls light emission from the plurality of light-emitting elements to project an image on the light diffuser, the image changing with time; and when changing the light emission from the plurality of light-emitting elements changing the image, controls the light emission from the light source to keep a change in at least one of (i) a light amount, (ii) a color temperature, and (iii) a spectral distribution of light emitted from the illumination apparatus within a predetermined range.

Abstract: A lighting apparatus includes: a case having an opening portion; a light emission panel in the case, the light emission panel having a light emission surface which emits light having a light distribution which dynamically changes; and a light distribution modification panel in the opening portion and having a distribution-modified light emission surface which modifies the light distribution of the light to emit light having a modified light distribution. The light emission panel emits, as the light having the light distribution, light having at least one of a luminance distribution and a chromaticity distribution of a first image to be presented on the light emission surface. The light distribution modification panel diffuses and transmits the light emitted from the light emission surface to emit light such that the at least one distribution of a second image to be presented on the distribution-modified light emission surface is changed to a blurred state.

Abstract: A construction component forms at least a part of a structure that faces a target space. The construction component has a first function, a second function, and a third function. The first function is a function of emitting illumination light toward the target space. The second function is a function of allowing incident light to enter the construction component. The incident light is emitted from a light source disposed out of a projection area, viewed from the target space, of the construction component and is incident on the construction component via a light transmission member. The third function is a function of converting the incident light into the illumination light.

The light-emitting module emits light toward the light diffuser, and the specular reflector reflects light from the light diffuser.

Abstract: A light environment rendering system includes: one lighting apparatus disposed on a part of a structure to form an illumination space; another lighting apparatus disposed on the part of a structure, at a position different from a position at which the one lighting apparatus is located, to form the illumination space; and a system controller which controls an operation of each of the lighting apparatuses. The system controller determines an illumination mode based on sky information that indicates at least one of a brightness and a color tone of a sky which are determined at least based on an azimuth direction and a height of the sun, and causes each of the lighting apparatuses to perform lighting simulating a sky according to the illumination mode.

Abstract: A lighting control device includes a sensor that detects a state of a user and a gesture made by the user and a controller that controls a lighting characteristic of a lighting device. In the lighting control device and/or the lighting control method, it is determined (by the controller) whether a gesture made by the user and acquired by the sensor matches a first predetermined gesture including a predetermined hand shape and a predetermined movement of both hands of the user made within a detecting region between a boundary 30% larger than a periphery of a projection region illuminated by the lighting device and a boundary 30% smaller than the periphery of the projection region. When it is determined that the gesture matches the first predetermined gesture, a size of the projection region is changed (by the controller).

Abstract: With a non-contact power supply system, a non-contact power supply device, and power supply target device of the present invention, power is supplied from a power supply coil of the non-contact power supply device to a power receiving coil of the power supply target device by non-contact power supply utilizing magnetic interaction. During the non-contact power supply, first, a power supply coil exhibiting a first interaction stronger than a predetermined reference interaction is selected as a candidate excitation coil, and a high-frequency voltage is supplied to the power supply coil of the candidate excitation coil. Second, a power supply coil exhibiting a second interaction weaker than the reference interaction and power supply coils adjacent to this power supply coil are selected as candidate excitation coils, and the high-frequency voltage is supplied to the power supply coils of these candidate excitation coils.
