Abstract: A video display system according to an embodiment includes a display unit, a projection unit, and a display control unit. The display unit displays an image thereon. The projection unit projects a virtual image corresponding to the image onto a target space with outgoing light of the display unit. The display control unit is able to change a projection distance from a viewpoint of a user, who is viewing the virtual image, to the virtual image projected onto the target space. The display control unit changes the projection distance in a change pattern. The change pattern varies according to situation information.

Abstract: An image processing device includes: a first obtainer that obtains a captured image from an imaging device that captures a view in front of a vehicle; a second obtainer that obtains a remaining distance to a next guide point; an image processor that performs image processing on a specified region, in the captured image, corresponding to a position distanced by the remaining distance; and an output unit that outputs the captured image processed by the image processor, wherein the image processor controls an edge strength of a subject in the specified region, in accordance with the remaining distance.

Abstract: The head-up display includes an imaging position changer configured to change a position of a virtual image between a far visual position far from an observer and a near visual position close to the observer. The imaging position changer inclines the virtual image at the far visual position by a second inclination angle with respect to a perpendicular plane to a reference light beam reaching a center of a viewpoint region in which a viewpoint of the observer is located, to move an upper end thereof in a forward direction of the moving object, and inclines the virtual image at the near visual position by a first inclination angle smaller than the second inclination angle with respect to the perpendicular plane to the reference light beam, to move the upper end in the forward direction of the moving object.

Abstract: A video display system includes a display unit, a projection unit, and a display control unit. The display unit displays an image. The projection unit projects a virtual image onto a target space with outgoing light of the display unit. The display control unit shifts a projection position of the virtual image by changing at least one of a projection distance or an angle of depression. The projection distance is a distance from a viewpoint to the virtual image. The angle of depression is an angle from which the virtual image is viewed from the user's viewpoint. The display control unit changes the projection distance of the virtual image in accordance with a distance instruction and changes at least one of the projection distance or the angle of depression such that the virtual image is projected onto a displayable region of the target space.

Abstract: Display device included in a moving body includes road information acquisition unit that acquires road information about a road in a traveling direction of the moving body and display controller that displays a virtual image illustrating at least one graphic as seen from the moving body on a display medium while superimposing the virtual image on a real space in the traveling direction when the at least one graphic is assumed to be disposed at a predetermined position in the traveling direction. Display controller updates a mode of the at least one graphic using the road information acquired by the road information acquisition unit, and displays the virtual image illustrating the updated at least one graphic on the display medium.
