    Abstract: A radio-frequency module includes: boards; interconnect parts that are conductor layers on the individual boards, at least one of the conductor layers being connected to an RF chip; a land that is a conductor layer connected to one of the interconnect parts; a transmission unit disposed between the boards, connected to the boards through the land to transmit a signal; a ground conductor disposed around the land and the interconnect part connected to the land; an isolation part disposed between the interconnect layer connected to the land and the ground conductor to isolate the interconnect layer connected to the land from the ground conductor; and a coupling part disposed between the land and the ground conductor to short-circuit the land and the ground conductor.

    Abstract: An array antenna device of this disclosure includes a substrate, a strip conductor with a linear-shape, which is provided on the substrate, and a power feeder that feeds power to the strip conductor, and a plurality of loop elements, a conductor plate, and a plurality of feeding elements. The plurality of loop elements are provided on a first surface of the substrate, and are located along the strip conductor with a specified spacing from each other. Each of the plurality of loop elements has a loop-shape with a notch. The plurality of feeding elements are connected to the strip conductor, and each has a shape extending along a portion of an outer edge of corresponding one of the plurality of loop elements. The conductor plate is provided on a second surface of the substrate.

    Abstract: A balun converts a single-ended radio-frequency signal into differential signals. A differential matching circuit outputs a maximum-level positive-phase output signal at a lower or higher frequency than the center frequency and outputs a maximum-level reverse-phase output signal at a higher or lower frequency than the center frequency. An amplification circuit amplifies a positive-phase output signal and a reverse-phase output signal of the differential matching circuit. A mixing circuit converts the positive-phase output signal and the reverse-phase output signal that are output from the amplification circuit into intermediate-frequency signals using locally generated signals.

    Abstract: A balun converts a single-ended radio-frequency signal into differential signals.
