Abstract: A solid electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element. The capacitor element includes an anode foil including a base material part and a porous part disposed on a surface of the base material part, a dielectric layer disposed on at least a part of a surface of the anode foil, a solid electrolyte layer covering at least a part of the dielectric layer, and a cathode lead-out layer covering at least a part of the solid electrolyte layer. The anode foil includes an anode section on which the solid electrolyte layer is not disposed, a cathode formation section on which the solid electrolyte layer is disposed, and a separation section located between the anode section and the cathode formation section. A first insulating material is disposed on a surface of the porous part in the separation section. And at least a part of a region of the porous part that is covered with the first insulating material includes a second insulating material.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing an electrolytic capacitor includes: preparing an anode body that includes a dielectric layer, and forming a solid electrolyte layer on the dielectric layer. The forming of the solid electrolyte layer includes: forming a first conductive polymer layer on the dielectric layer, applying a first treatment liquid to the first conductive polymer layer, and forming a second conductive polymer layer after the applying of the first treatment liquid. The first conductive polymer layer includes a first conductive polymer. The first treatment liquid contains a first compound and a solvent. The first compound has a skeleton of naphthalene or anthraquinone, and includes at least one SO3-containing group bonded to the skeleton. The at least one SO3-containing group is at least one selected from a group consisting of a sulfonic acid group and a sulfonate group.

Abstract: A solid electrolytic capacitor element includes an anode body, a dielectric layer formed at the surface of the anode body, and a cathode portion that covers at least a part of the dielectric layer. The cathode portion includes a solid electrolyte layer that covers at least a part of the dielectric layer. The solid electrolyte included in the solid electrolyte layer has a weight reduction ratio of 3% or less when measured through thermogravimetric analysis in which the solid electrolyte is heated to 180° C., is kept at 180° C. for 20 minutes, is cooled from 180° C. to 30° C., and is then heated from 30° C. to 260° C. at a rate of 20° C./min.

Abstract: A solid electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element and an exterior body that seals the capacitor element. The capacitor element includes an anode body, a dielectric layer that is formed on the surface of the anode body, a cathode part that covers at least a portion of the dielectric layer, an anode lead with one end portion electrically connected to the anode body, and a cathode lead with one end portion electrically connected to the cathode part. The other end portion of the anode lead and the other end portion of the cathode lead are drawn out from the exterior body. The cathode part includes a solid electrolyte layer that covers at least a portion of the dielectric layer. When the solid electrolytic capacitor is subjected to a processing corresponding to mounting reflow, the amount of gas generated is 1600 μL or less.

The solid electrolyte layer contains a first conductive polymer having a thiophene skeleton and a second conductive polymer having an aniline skeleton. In the solid electrolyte layer, a mass ratio of the second conductive polymer with respect to a total mass of the first conductive polymer and the second conductive polymer in a region close to the dielectric layer is greater than a mass ratio of the second conductive polymer with respect to a total mass of the first conductive polymer and the second conductive polymer in a region close to the cathode lead-out layer.
