Abstract: A light source driving device includes: a light emission control unit configured to control light emission of a light source in response to an instruction signal; a communication circuit which receives a first instruction signal instructing first light emission control for visible light communication; and a timer which starts to measure waiting time for executing the first light emission control, triggered by the reception of the first instruction signal. The light control unit starts the first light emission control of the light source in response to an instruction signal at the end timing of the waiting time.

Abstract: In a lighting device, when determining that both of a first measuring value and a second measuring value are not an abnormal value, a controller is configured to control an output of a power converter based on the first and second measuring values. The first measuring value is a temperature inside a main body of the lighting device, sensed by a first temperature sensor. The second measuring value is a temperature of a light source, sensed by a second temperature sensor. When determining that at least one of the first and second measuring values is the abnormal value, the controller is configured to control the output of the power converter to another value that is different from a value of the output set based on the first and second measuring values.

Abstract: An illumination control apparatus including a controller which: in switching a first lighting mode to a second lighting mode when a combination of results of detections by occupancy sensors changes, compares a first priority level pre-assigned to the first lighting mode and a second priority level pre-assigned to the second lighting mode; if the second priority level is lower than the first priority level, maintains the first lighting mode for a predetermined amount of wait time from a moment when the combination of the results of the detections changes, and subsequently switches the first lighting mode to the second lighting mode; and if the second priority level is higher than the first priority level, switches the first lighting mode to the second lighting mode at the moment when the combination of the results of the detections changes.

Abstract: A power supply device includes converters, a command circuit, and a setter. The converters correspond to loads. The command circuit controls the converters. The setter sets a magnitude of an output of at least one target converter of the converters in accordance with an output characteristic representing a relationship between an input voltage of the at least one target converter and an output limit value which is an upper limit value of the output from the at least one target converter. The output characteristic is a characteristic that the output limit value decreases as the input voltage lowers when the input voltage is lower than a threshold. The setter varies the threshold of the output characteristic in accordance with an operation status of the converters and sets the magnitude of the output from the at least one target converter in accordance with the output characteristic whose threshold has been varied.

Abstract: An impedance adjustment circuit varies an impedance of a transistor, thereby adjusting an impedance of a current path. A second control circuit controls a drive circuit to turn on or off at least one switch device of the switch devices while the impedance adjustment circuit is increasing the impedance of the current path. The impedance adjustment circuit adjusts the impedance of the current path to the minimum value after the drive circuit switches the at least one switch device from off to on or from on to off.

Abstract: A lighting device includes a thermal sensor, power converter circuits and a control circuit. The thermal sensor is configured to measure an internal temperature of a case. The power converter circuits are housed in the case and configured to be connected with different types of light sources, respectively. The control circuit is housed in the case and has priorities that are provided with respect to the different types of light sources according to their respective types. The control circuit is configured to, when the internal temperature is greater than a threshold, control the respective outputs of the power converter circuits so as to preferentially decrease an output for a light source corresponding to a first priority.

Abstract: There are provided an apparatus registration method capable of efficiently associating specific information about apparatuses and arrangement information about the apparatuses stored in an operation terminal, a program for implementing the method, and an apparatus system. A method for registration of luminaires associates a plurality of luminaires with items of arrangement information about the luminaires stored in an operation terminal for operating the luminaires. The method for registration of luminaires is adapted to include the steps of: consecutively reading at least two or more of items of specific information about the luminaires included in the luminaires using a RF reader; storing items of arrangement information about the luminaires into the operation terminal; and consecutively associating the at least two or more items of specific information consecutively read by the RF reader with at least two or more items of arrangement information among the items of arrangement information about the luminaires.

Abstract: An illumination system includes a light projection device, an illuminance measurement unit, a lighting device, and a control device. The light projection device projects an image to a space. The illuminance measurement unit measures an illuminance value of a location where the illuminance measurement unit is placed in the space. The lighting device has a dimming function for illuminating the location in the space with a brightness. The control device includes an illuminance setting unit, a difference calculation unit, and an illumination light adjusting unit. The illuminance setting unit sets an illuminance value of the location. The difference calculation unit calculates a difference between the illuminance value set by the illuminance setting unit and the illuminance value measured by the illuminance measurement unit. The illumination light adjusting unit adjusts a brightness of the lighting device such that the difference calculated by the difference calculation unit is reduced.
