摘要： A method for providing enhanced authenticity for a multimedia data item, the multimedia data item including captured multimedia data with associated metadata, wherein the method includes receiving the multimedia data item over a transmission path. The method further includes defining path information for the received multimedia data item based on the used transmission path; and storing the path information to the multimedia data item for providing enhanced authenticity of the association between the metadata and the captured multimedia data.
