Abstract: An endoscope apparatus includes: an endoscope connector; a first optical connector extended from a plug section; first insertion openings of a receptacle section into which the first optical connector is inserted; second insertion openings of the receptacle section into which a second optical connector is inserted; a wrong insertion preventing member that is partially located in the second insertion openings, and is moved, in conjunction with insertion of the first optical connector into the first insertion openings, to a retracted position at which the second optical connector is insertable into the second insertion openings; and a contact member that comes into contact with the wrong insertion preventing member when the first optical connector is inserted into the second insertion openings.

Abstract: An endoscope inspection system includes an endoscope inspection apparatus and a package that packages an endoscope. The endoscope inspection apparatus includes a communication connector and a processor. The processor drives an image pickup device circuit of the endoscope to receive a response signal, determines based on the response signal whether a status of an image pickup device circuit is good or poor, and notifies a result of determination. The package includes a first fixing shape portion that fixes the packaged endoscope connector and a first fitting shape portion fitted with the communication connector such that an endoscope-side communication terminal of the fixed endoscope connector is electrically connected to an inspection apparatus-side communication terminal of the communication connector.

Abstract: The present invention provides a receptacle connector including: a grounding portion configured to ground a connection object; and a ground connection terminal that is configured to be switchably held in a first state in which the ground connection terminal is electrically separated from the grounding portion, or in a second state in which the ground connection terminal is electrically brought into conduction with the grounding portion. The ground connection terminal is switched between the first state and the second state in operative association with interlining of the plug connector and the fitting portion. In the first state, the grounding terminal and the grounding portion are electrically separated. In the second state, the grounding terminal and the grounding portion are electrically brought into conduction with each other through the ground connection terminal.
