    Abstract: An apparatus with a first photodetector and a second photodetector is provided. The apparatus is configured to receive light, and the first photodetector is configured to detect a first portion of the light. The first photodetector and the second photodetector are in a stacked arrangement and the apparatus is configured to pass a second portion of the light through the first photodetector to the second photodetector. The apparatus further includes an optical blocking filter configured to filter the second portion of the light prior to the second portion of the light arriving at the second photodetector.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for communication between a mobile device and a target device are disclosed. Information of a target device is determined by means of at least one element of a mobile device for providing an optical link with the target device. An optical component of the mobile device is then aligned with an optical component of the target device based on said information determined by the mobile device.     Abstract: Examples of the disclosure relate to an apparatus, method and computer program for determining biometric parameters. The apparatus comprises means for: obtaining a signal from a broadband detector in response to light that has been propagated through a subject being incident on the broad band detector. The signal that is obtained comprises at least a first component and a second component. The first component is provided in response to a first spectral and spatial distribution of light being incident on the broadband detector and the second component is provided in response to at least one other spectral and spatial distribution of light being incident on the broadband detector. An emitter of the first spectral and spatial distribution of light and an emitter of the at least one other spectral and spatial distribution of light are controlled so that the first spectral and spatial distribution of light and the at least one other spectral and spatial distribution light have a similar dependency to motion artefacts but a different dependency to a biometric parameter. The apparatus also has means for processing the first component and the second component of the obtained signal to enable the biometric parameter of the subject to be determined.
