Abstract: Example embodiments relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable mediums for paging information and paging-related actions. A terminal device may receive via a first cell first paging information related to a second cell or another carrier of the first cell, and to perform a paging-related action via the second cell or said another carrier based on the first paging information. Synchronization signals are not transmitted in the second cell or said another carrier. The paging-related action may include monitoring for second paging information in the second cell or said another carrier if the first paging information includes a paging early indication, a wake-up signal, or a scheduling message for scheduling a paging message, or performing at least one action for transferring information via the second cell or said another carrier if the first paging information includes a paging message or a wake-up signal.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to handling wake up signaling in discontinuous reception. A method comprises determining, at an apparatus, whether an active time during which the apparatus monitors transmissions from a further apparatus overlaps with at least one occasion for monitoring wake up signaling. The method further comprises in response to the active time overlapping with the at least one occasion, skipping monitoring wake up signaling on the at least one occasion. As such, power consumption for monitoring wake up signaling during the active time can be reduced.

Abstract: According to a first embodiment, a method may include receiving, by a user equipment, at least one indication that the user equipment is allowed to skip paging monitoring after a paging message is successfully decoded. The method may further include determining, by the user equipment, that the user equipment can end paging monitoring based upon received wake-up signaling configuration data. The method may further include entering, by the user equipment, an extended discontinuous reception sleep mode.

Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a device, method, apparatus and computer readable storage medium of scheduling request (SR) and random access (RA) triggering for small data transmission (SDT). In example embodiments, a terminal device receives, from a network device, a configuration of one or more configured grant (CG) resources for a SDT procedure and a list of one or more data radio bearers (DRBs) associated with respective logical channels (LCHs) allowed for SDT over at least one of the one or more CG resources. After the terminal device initiates the SDT procedure in an inactive mode, if the terminal determines that a buffer status report (BSR) is triggered, the terminal device determines whether a configuration of a SR mask is to be applied for a LCH configured for SDT.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for multiple system information handling are provided. One method includes receiving, by a UE, one or more instances of system information from the network. For example, the system information may be received in one or more SIBs from an eNB. In one example, the instances of system information may include at least one of legacy system information or eMTC system information. The method may further include determining which of the received instances of system information the UE should use.
