Abstract: A flexible hinge alignment mechanism of a high-power optical system is made of a flexible hinge, and may lead to a relatively weak region of the hinge to achieve elastic displacement or rotation under stress loading. Through movable actuators such as screws and springs, the area is precisely moved, and the function of accurate alignment is achieved. When the flexible hinge causes the structure to move relatively due to the applied forces, it must be ensured that the corresponding distribution of maximum stress needs to be below the yielding point of the material, thus ensuring the mechanism acts in a material's elastic region. The design is beneficial to optimize the design of the optical alignment mechanism.

Abstract: A high power optical fiber laser combiner includes a plurality of input port fibers; an output port fiber including a cladding and a propagating layer, the cladding being used to clad the propagating layer, and the cladding including a micro-nano structure on a surface thereof for removing a residual power in the cladding; and a bundling portion for bundling the input port fibers, and the input port fibers spliced to the output port fiber. The heat effect accumulation of laser power on the cladding can effectively be reduced by the micro-nano structure of the high power optical fiber laser combiner. The tolerant power and bundling power of the optical fiber laser combiner can be raised to increase the output power of the optical laser.

Abstract: An optical housing for high power fiber components includes an upper cover, a lower base, and two isolating members. The upper cover includes a light-reflecting portion for containing the optical fiber and receiving and reflecting the light therefrom. The lower base is connected with the upper cover and includes a light-receiving portion which corresponds to the light-reflecting portion in position and surrounds the optical fiber, thereby receives the light from the light-reflecting portion. The isolating members are disposed between the upper cover and the lower base and located on two sides of the optical housing to prevent the leakage of light from the optical fiber.
