Abstract: A restricting member is provided that is in contact with respective bent lead portions of a long-sized lead and a short-sized lead and imparts a tension to linear lead portions thereof in a mold for insert molding. The restricting member reliably prevents the leads from displacement and deformation resulting from the pressure of the resin at the time of insert molding, and allows the long-sized lead and the short-sized lead to be disposed at proper positions in a molded body.

Abstract: The present invention provides an AC generator for a vehicle, in which a resin case (26) includes convex portions (33) formed on an outer circumferential surface of the resin case (26) so as to extend in an axial direction of the resin case (26) to be brought into pressure-contact with an inner circumferential wall surface of a counter drive-side bearing housing portion (24), and convex portions (34) formed on an inner circumferential surface of the resin case (26) so as to be opposed to the convex portions (33). The concave portions (34) allow displacement of the convex portions (33) in a radially inward direction of the resin case (26). By an elastic force generated by the displacement of the convex portions (33), the resin case (26) is integrated with the counter drive-side bearing housing portion (24).

Abstract: A winding-start receiving groove in which a winding-start lead wire of a field coil is received is formed in an inner surface of a flange of an insulation bobbin. A holder is disposed on the flange and located on a radially outer side of the winding-start receiving groove. The holder is formed with a holder groove located on an extension line of the winding-start receiving groove and extending at an angle relative to a radial direction of the insulation bobbin. The winding-start lead wire of the field coil is received in the winding-start receiving groove and the holder groove and held by the holder. This makes it possible to obtain a rotor of a rotary electrical machine with a simplified configuration at low cost not only to improve winding workability but also to enhance electrical reliability and durability.

Abstract: To obtain a rotating electric machine with a simple configuration, including a clearance filling member which can be easily assembled to a bearing housing portion without requiring time and does not adversely affect an outer race of a bearing, provided is an AC generator for a vehicle including a resin case (26) including: a case main body portion (30); an extending portion (32) formed integrally with the case main body portion (30), the extending portion (32) extending toward a rotor (6) beyond an end surface of the counter drive-side bearing (25) housed inside the counter drive-side bearing housing portion (24); and a convex portion (33) formed on an outer circumferential surface of the extending portion (32), the convex portion (32) being configured to be held in pressure contact with the inner circumferential wall surface of the counter drive-side bearing housing portion (24).
