Abstract: In a rotary electric machine, slots are formed between teeth of a stator core. A ratio of a number of poles to a number of slots is 2:3. Abstract: A rotation angle detection device including: a rotor; a stator including “b” (b≥3) magnetic detection portions (MDPs) each including a bias magnetic field generation portion and a magnetic detection element (MDE); and a rotation angle processor calculating a rotation angle of the rotor based on a detection by the (MDEs). The rotor has convex and concave portions (CCPs), which change in “x” cycles for a mechanical angle 360 (“x”≥1) to make the MDEs possible to obtain a sine wave. There are arranged “b” MDPs along a circumferential direction of the stator for each cycle of the CCPs, which are arranged at intervals of a mechanical angle 360×(n×b+m)/(x×b), where “n” (n≥0) represents, by a number of cycles, a deviation amount of each of the MDPs from a reference position in the circumferential direction, and “m” (1≤m≤“b”) represents a position of a MDP in an arrangement order.

Abstract: A rotating electric machine includes a rotor including: a rotor core divided into blocks in an axial direction, the blocks being arranged to have a phase angle therebetween in a circumferential direction, the rotor core having magnet through holes arrayed in the circumferential direction and formed in an outer circumferential region; and permanent magnets inserted into the magnet through holes. The magnet through hole includes: a magnet insertion portion into which the permanent magnet is inserted; and a non-magnetic portion provided on an outer side of the magnet insertion portion in the circumferential direction. A bridge portion is formed between the outer circumferential surface and an outer circumferential inner wall of the non-magnetic portion. A bridge angle, which is an angle between both circumferential ends of the bridge portion with a rotation center of the rotor core set as a vertex, is larger than a skew angle.

Abstract: A motor of the present invention is configured in such a way that a side surface of a teeth portion and a side surface, which is faced to the side surface, of a neighboring teeth portion, in which an inner circumference side tip of the teeth portion is excepted, are positioned in parallel at a slot in which a coil of a stator, which is configured in a cylinder shape, is installed, and self-both side surfaces at the inner circumference side tip of the teeth portion are positioned in parallel. Abstract: A contour line on the outer circumferential side of each magnet hole in the first layer is formed to be an arc passing through a total of three intersections, i.e., an intersection of a d axis and a reference magnetic flux line which is a magnetic flux line as a reference positioned inward by a predetermined number of magnetic flux lines from the outer circumferential edge of a rotor core, and intersections of: the reference magnetic flux line; and sides at the circumferential ends of the magnet hole which are positioned inward by a bridge dimension from the outer circumferential edge of the rotor core. Thus, a rotary electric machine that enables maximum utilization of reluctance torque and magnet torque and suppression of torque ripple can be obtained with simple processing and low cost.
