Abstract:
A wireless communications device includes a radio frequency (RF) module and a baseband chip. The baseband chip is configured to initiate a mobile originated (MO) call through the RF module with a first subscriber identity card when the RF module is occupied by performing a packet switched (PS) data service with a second subscriber identity card, arbitrate a first protocol stack handler to suspend or terminate the PS data service associated with the second subscriber identity card in response to initiating the MO call associated with the first subscriber identity card, and arbitrate a second protocol stack handler to make the MO call associated with the first subscriber identity card when the PS data service associated with the second subscriber identity card is suspended or terminated.
Abstract:
A mobile communication device including a wireless transceiver and a wireless transceiver is provided. The wireless transceiver performs wireless transmission and reception to and from a first service network and a second service network. The controller uses a first subscriber identity card to establish one or more first radio bearers with the first service network via the wireless transceiver, uses a second subscriber identity card to set up an Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) tunnel with an evolved Packet Data Gateway (ePDG) of the second service network via the first radio bearers, and uses the second subscriber identity card to register an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) service with the second service network via the IPsec tunnel.

Abstract:
A method for efficient wireless communications performed by a communications apparatus includes determining a cell according to a low priority list; and performing an attach procedure to try to attach to the cell for establishing an emergency call through the cell. The low priority list comprises information regarding a public land mobile network (PLMN) identity (ID), tracking area (TA) code, a cell ID and/or a closed subscriber group (CSG) ID of at least one attempted cell through which the communications apparatus has attempted but failed to establish an emergency call.
