Abstract:
A mobile communication device with a processor is provided. The processor determines whether an Inter-Radio Access Technology (IRAT) procedure is ongoing when receiving a request for a Mobile Originated (MO) call, starts a first guard timer in response to the IRAT procedure being ongoing, and performs an Access Domain Selection (ADS) for making the MO call in response to the IRAT procedure being completed and the first guard timer not expiring.
Abstract:
A mobile communication device including a wireless transceiver and a wireless transceiver is provided. The wireless transceiver performs wireless transmission and reception to and from a first service network and a second service network. The controller uses a first subscriber identity card to establish one or more first radio bearers with the first service network via the wireless transceiver, uses a second subscriber identity card to set up an Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) tunnel with an evolved Packet Data Gateway (ePDG) of the second service network via the first radio bearers, and uses the second subscriber identity card to register an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) service with the second service network via the IPsec tunnel.
Abstract:
A method for handling a call conflict in a communications network is disclosed. The method is used in a user equipment (UE) in a communications network. The method includes: receiving, by a mobile terminated (MT) call handling module, an MT call request for establishing an MT call from a network on a first access domain; detecting, by a call conflict handling module, whether a mobile originated (MO) call is being established at the same time by an MO call handling module on a second access domain; and transmitting, by a call conflict handling module, signals to the MT call handling module and the MO call handling module to indicate how to handle the MT call and the MO call.
