Abstract: An intake sound amplifier amplifies intake sound that is transmitted from an engine mounted in an engine compartment of a vehicle to a cabin. The intake sound amplifier includes a first passage branched from an intake passage, through which intake air is introduced into an engine; a device body that includes a vibrating body vibrated by pulsation of the intake air and is connected to a downstream end of the first passage; and a second passage that is connected to a downstream end of the device body and extends to the cabin side. The device body is located outward in a vehicle width direction of a side frame that extends in a vehicle front-rear direction and separates inside of the engine compartment from outside in the vehicle width direction.

Abstract: A vehicle front structure includes a dash upper panel and a grille top face portion having outside air introduction holes taking in outside air. The vehicle front structure includes a cover member covering an engine from a vehicle upper side and having a top plate rear portion opposed to the grille top face portion on a vehicle lower side throughout a predetermined range, including the outside air introduction holes, in a vehicle width direction, and a grille front face portion disposed from the grille top face portion to the top plate rear portion on a vehicle front side of the outside air introduction holes. The top plate rear portion has a shape having inclined surfaces extending from a vehicle lower side of the outside air introduction holes in the vehicle width direction, the inclined surfaces being gradually inclined to the vehicle lower side toward vehicle-width-direction outer sides.

Abstract: An engine room structure for a vehicle uses dividing portions of plural wall members forming a cover member, and can thereby easily form a through portion through which plural routing members are caused to pass by notch-shaped portions without forming a substantial through hole. An engine room structure for a vehicle, which includes a cover member covering an upper portion of an engine and in which a through portion is formed in the cover member, and plural routing members pass through the through portion. The cover member is divided into at least a first member and a second member, continuous notch-shaped portions are formed along a partial dividing line between the first member and the second member in either one of those, and the through portion for the plural routing members is formed with the notch-shaped portions of the one member and an end portion of the other member.
