Abstract: The invention relates to a locking plate (1) for tensioning a tire chain by means of a ten-sioning chain (46), and to an arrangement, comprising a locking plate (1) and a pull-through bracket (40). The locking plate comprises a locking slot (10) whose clear width is greater than a thickness and smaller than an outer width of the chain links (34) of the tensioning chain, and with a pull-through opening with an inner contour into which an outer contour of the tensioning chain can be entered. The tensioning chain can be captively received in the locking plate transversely to its longitudinal extension to be movable between a locking position (18) arranged in the region of the locking slot and a pull-through position (16) arranged in the region of the pull-through opening.
