    摘要: A first client station receives from an access point an indication of whether angular information is to be included in feedback information in a range measurement session. The first client station transmits a null data packet (NDP) as part of an uplink multi-user (MU) PHY transmission that also includes simultaneous transmissions by one or more second client stations of one or more other respective NDPs to the access point as part of the range measurement session. The first client station receives a downlink physical layer (PHY) data unit from the access point that includes respective downlink feedback frames for the first client station and the one or more second client stations. When angular information is to be included in the feedback, a downlink feedback frame for the first client station includes angular information.

    摘要: A first communication device in a first WLAN determines a channel estimate of a communication channel between the first communication device and a second communication device in a second WLAN using measurements at the first communication device of a first transmission between the second communication device and a third communication device in the second WLAN. The first communication device generates a PPDU for transmission to a fourth communication device in the first WLAN, including: determining, using the channel estimate, a precoder matrix to use for transmitting the PPDU in the first WLAN, and generating the PPDU using the precoder matrix so that interference at the second communication device in the second WLAN caused by transmission of the PPDU by the first communication device in the first WLAN is reduced. The first communication device transmits the PPDU to the fourth communication device in the first WLAN as a directional second transmission.

    摘要: A preamble of physical layer (PHY) data unit includes a first legacy portion and a first non-legacy portion that follows the first legacy portion. The first non-legacy portion includes i) a first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol that immediately follows the first legacy portion and that is modulated using binary phase shift keying (BPSK), and ii) a second OFDM symbol that immediately follows the first OFDM symbol and that is modulated using BPSK modulation rotated by 90 degrees (Q-BPSK). The modulation of the first and second OFDM symbols indicates to a receiver device that conforms to a first communication protocol that the data unit conforms to the first communication protocol. The first OFDM symbol being modulated using BPSK modulation causes a receiver device that conforms to a second communication protocol to determine that the PHY data unit conforms to a third communication protocol.

    摘要: A first aggregated MAC protocol data unit (A-MPDU) is generated for transmission over a first frequency segment of a communication channel, and a second A-MPDU is generated for transmission over a second frequency segment of the communication channel. A PHY protocol data unit (PPDU) is generated to include the plurality of A-MPDUs and a second PPDU is generated to include the second A-MPDU. A first transmit processor generates a first RF signal for transmission of the first PPDU over the first frequency segment and a second transmit processor generates a second RF signal for transmission of the second PPDU over the second frequency segment. The first RF signal is transmitted in the first frequency segment simultaneously with the second RF signal being transmitted in the second frequency segment.
