Abstract: An augmented reality (AR) display device includes a camera that captures a background image; a distance measuring sensor that measures a distance to a real object in the background image; a position and orientation sensor that detects the position of the camera and the shooting direction of the camera; a controller that recognizes the real object from the background image captured by the camera and associates the predetermined AR object with the recognized real object; a display displaying an image of the associated AR object; and a memory that stores data of the real object and the AR object associated with each other. The controller determines whether or not the real object is movable from the measurement result of the distance measuring sensor, and arranges the AR object according to the current position of the real object when the position of the real object associated with the AR object moves.

Abstract: An imaging device comprises: an image sensor to convert an optical image captured in light receiving elements arranged in an array on an imaging surface into sensor signals and output the sensor signals; a modulator provided on a light receiving surface of the image sensor and to modulate light by using a first grating pattern; an exposure control unit to determine an exposure condition based on the sensor signals, change a set exposure condition to the determined exposure condition, and control exposure in accordance with the changed exposure condition; and an image processing unit to generate a second grating pattern corresponding to the first grating pattern, generate a moiré fringe image based on the second grating pattern and the sensor signals, and generate a photographed image based on the moiré fringe image. The exposure condition includes an exposure time of the image sensor and a transmittance of the modulator.

Abstract: A mount type device includes a camera configured to photograph a work site in a wider range than a visual field of a worker; a sensor configured to obtain a visual line of the worker; and a visual line movement detector configured to detect, as visual line movement information, movement of a direction of the visual line of the worker by using the sensor information. The mount type device transmits data on the photographed image and the visual line movement information to an operation instructing apparatus via a network. An operation instructing apparatus includes a display setter configured to extract a first image having a wider range than a visual field range of the worker from the image photographed by the camera, correct the first image using the visual line movement information, and cause a display of the corrected first image; and an instruction image is generated for the worker.

Abstract: A modulator of a distance measuring sensor unit 102 has a photographing pattern that includes a plurality of patterns different from each other, and modulates intensity of light. A gesture detecting unit divides image data obtained by receiving light transmitted through the modulator by the image sensor; restores an image by calculation based on a developing pattern corresponding to the photographing pattern in a divided unit; and obtains an image for detecting gesture of a user. This makes it possible to obtain an image of an object in an outside world without using a lens for forming an image. Therefore, it is possible to reduce a load on a user when the user wears the apparatus.

Abstract: An HMD includes first and second batteries mounted therein, and includes a plurality of power receivers that receive power from the first and second batteries by wireless transmission, a power supply manager that monitors states of the first and second batteries, a communication interface that performs wireless communication with the first and second batteries, and a plurality of limiters that limit the power received by the plurality of power receivers. A controller causes the limiters to limit power, which is supplied to a load, according to a power use state of the load in the device, and the power supply manager acquires information of remaining power storage amounts of the first and second batteries through the communication interface and displays the acquired information on a display. Therefore, since it is possible to supply power required for driving the device while wearing the HMD, the HMD can be continuously used.

Abstract: Provided is an imaging system capable of stereo-photographing with both of visible and infrared images, and improving color reproducibility in visible-light-photographing. The imaging system includes two imaging sensors 1, and two DBPFs 5 that have transmittance characteristics in a visible light band and a second wavelength band, are respectively provided correspondingly to the two imaging sensors, and serve as optical filters. The imaging system has: at least four kinds of filters, which have mutual different spectral transmission characteristics corresponding to wavelengths in the visible light band and whose transmissions in a second wavelength band approximate each other; and two color filters provided so as respectively correspond to the two imaging sensors. The imaging system measures a distance to a target based on two visible or infrared image signals.
