Abstract: A jigsaw includes a jigsaw main body, a handle, and a battery. The jigsaw main body includes a housing, a motor disposed inside the housing, and a battery mounting portion having a first mounting surface facing downward. The handle is disposed at an upper portion of the jigsaw main body and above the motor. The battery has a second mounting surface and supplies the motor with an electric power. The battery is slidable along the first mounting surface and mountable to the battery mounting portion with the first and second mounting surfaces facing each other.

Abstract: A bracket (20) includes: a pedestal (21, 22) that is mountable on a support frame (2) of a work stand (1) for supporting a saw (60); and first and second engaging parts (38A, 38B) arranged on the pedestal to sandwich the support frame in a horizontal direction and engage with first and second engagement parts (8A, 8B) on opposite sides of the support frame. The second engaging part includes first and second levers (41, 42). The pedestal is movable along the longitudinal direction of the support frame by manipulating only the first lever to disengage it from the second engagement part (8B) and is removable from the support frame by simultaneously manipulating both the first and second levers in the same direction to disengage them from the second engagement part. The first and second levers both move in the same opposite direction to engage the second engagement part.

The cutting-machine main body includes: an output shaft (37) extending in an axial direction orthogonal to the slide bars and mounting a cutting tool (11); an electric motor (23) between the cutting tool and the slide bars when the cutting tool is vertical, and located more upward than the slide bars; and a motive-power transmitting part (30) transmitting the driving force of the electric motor to the output shaft. The motive-power transmitting part is between the cutting tool and the slide bars and upward of the slide bars when the cutting-machine main body is at a top dead center.

A rotary shaft (61a; 82a; 102a) of the tilt-fixing manipulatable part is coaxial with the fixing rod (rotary shaft) attached to the grip.
