    Abstract: A dust collection device, that collects dust particles generated by an impact tool, has a feature that enables the attachment of the device to the impact tool, which is not provided with an attachment section for the device. The dust collection device has a tool body and an auxiliary handle, attached removably to the tool body, and is attached to an electric hammer that, in the lengthwise direction, linearly operates a tool bit mounted to the tip region of the tool body, and collects dust generated by the electric hammer. The dust collection device has: a dust collection unit that has a dust intake port at the tip; a dust collection hose, connected to the dust collection unit, for transferring dust to the downstream side; and a hose-holding unit that holds the dust collection hose. The hose-holding unit can be attached to and removed from the auxiliary handle.

    Abstract: A rotary tool includes a tool body, a motor, a determining part, a monitoring part and a criterion changing part. The motor is housed in the tool body and configured to drive the tool accessory. The determining part is configured to determine whether or not excessive rotation of the tool body around the driving axis due to jamming of the tool accessory occurs, according to a specific determination criterion. The monitoring part is configured to monitor information relating to a use state of the rotary tool. The criterion changing part is configured to change the determination criterion according to the use state.

    Abstract: A drilling tool includes a tool body, a brushless motor, a first detector, a second detector and a control device. The brushless motor is housed in the tool body and configured to drive the tool accessory. The first detector is configured to detect first information corresponding to a load applied to the tool accessory. The second detector is configured to detect second information corresponding to a rotation state of the tool body around the driving axis. The control device is configured to control operation of the drilling tool. The control device is configured to set a conduction angle for the brushless motor based on the first information, and to determine, based on the first information and the second information, whether or not excessive rotation of the tool body due to jamming of the tool accessory occurs.
