摘要: Multi-color flash with image post-processing that uses a camera device with a multi-color flash and implements post-processing to generate images is described. In one aspect, the multi-color flash with image post-processing may be implemented by a controller configured to control a camera and flashes of at least two different colors. The controller may be configured to cause the camera to acquire a first image of a scene while the scene is being illuminated with the first flash but not the second flash, then cause the camera to acquire a second image of the scene while the scene is being illuminated with the second flash but not the first flash, and generate a final image of the scene in post-processing based on a combination of the first image and the second image.

摘要: A light source includes a plurality of light emitting diodes, with at least some light emitting diodes sized between 30 microns and 500 microns. A plurality of micro-optics are associated with a light guide plate and sized less than 1 millimeter, with each micro-optic positioned over at least one of the plurality of light emitting diodes. At least some of the combinations of light emitting diode and micro-optics associated with the light guide plate are positioned within a distance to each other sufficient to provide a substantially uniform light beam.

摘要: A distance measurement system includes two or more line pattern generators (LPGs), a camera, and a processor. Each LPG emits a line pattern having a first set of dark portions separated by a respective first set of bright portions. A first line pattern has a first angular distance between adjacent bright portions, and a second line pattern has a second angular distance between adjacent bright portions. The camera captures at least one image of the first line pattern and the second line pattern. The camera is a first distance from the first LPG and a second distance from the second LPG. The processor identifies a target object illuminated by the first and second line patterns and determines a distance to the target object based on the appearance of the target object as illuminated by the first and second line patterns.

摘要: Described herein is source sensitive optic that uses reconfigurable chip-on-board (CoB) light emitting diode (LED) arrays as light sources. In an implementation, the reconfigurable CoB LED array includes a predetermined number of LEDs that are configurable for a variety of illumination scenarios. In an implementation, the reconfigurable CoB LED array is multiple CoB LED arrays that are configured for use with the source sensitive optic as described herein. The source sensitive optic includes surface shapes that are responsive to the reconfigurable CoB LED array. The source sensitive optic is configured to provide beam profile and radiation pattern differentiation based on a CoB LED array configuration configured from the reconfigurable CoB LED. Each configurable CoB LED array configuration radiates a different beam pattern via the surface shapes due to proximity and surface shape geometries.

A plurality of micro-optics sized less than 1 millimeter are positioned over at least some of the plurality of light emitting diodes. Each combination of light emitting diode and associated micro-optic is positioned within a Rayleigh distance to each other, sufficient to both present a substantially uniform visual appearance and provide a substantially uniform light beam. In some embodiments the height of the light emitting diodes, their supporting substrate and electrical traces, and associated optics is less than 5 millimeters.
