    Abstract: The invention relates to an injector for injecting fuel, preferably for injecting a gaseous fuel, in particular hydrogen, comprising a fuel supply line for introducing a highly pressurized gaseous fuel, an active valve which can be actively shut off and which is designed to close or release at least one passage on a first face of a valve plate in order to selectively release or interrupt a fluidic connection between the fuel supply line and a region which is downstream of the first face of the valve plate, and a passive valve which is arranged downstream of the valve plate and can be passively switched to a closing or releasing state as a result of different pressure ratios upstream and downstream of the passive valve.

    Abstract: An injector for injecting fuel including an injector housing, a movable nozzle needle with a nozzle needle tip arranged in the injector housing, and a nozzle needle seat for receiving the nozzle needle tip. A contact pairing of the nozzle needle and the nozzle needle seat here represents a mechanical switch that adopts a closed state upon contact of the nozzle needle tip with the nozzle needle seat and an open state upon interruption of the contact. Provision is additionally made that the injector has an input line and an output line for controlling movement of the nozzle needle, the switch has a first connector connected to the input line and a second connector connected to the injector housing, and a resistor connected between the first connector of the switch and the input line.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for direct injection of a gaseous fuel, in particular hydrogen, which device comprises: a pressure-control unit which is designed to convert a supplied variable pressure level of the gaseous fuel into a fixed constant output pressure level; a distributor unit which is connected to at least one injector for direct injection of the gaseous fuel, which has been guided through the pressure-control unit, into a combustion chamber; and a fluid connection between the pressure-control unit and the distributor unit in order to guide the gaseous fuel at a constant output pressure downstream towards the distributor unit. The device is characterized in that a flow-control valve is disposed along the fluid connection and designed to adjust the constant output pressure level of the gaseous fuel to a desired target pressure not exceeding the output pressure level.

    Abstract: The injector unit according to the disclosure comprises a seat plate with a through opening extending through the seat plate, an armature element which can be placed onto the seat plate, in order to close the through opening, a spring element pushing the armature element in the direction of the seat plate, in order to close the through opening, an electromagnet designed to load the armature element with a force, in order to lift the armature element from the seat plate, and a stop for limiting a stroke of the armature element in a state in which it is lifted from the seat plate. The injector unit is characterized by a control unit designed to reduce an actuating signal of the electromagnet for lifting the armature element from the seat plate before the armature element contacts the stop for the first time after being lifted from the seat plate.
