摘要： An apparatus for manufacturing a secondary battery is provided. The apparatus comprises a separation sheet supply device configured to supply two separation sheets configured to be disposed vertically. An electrode supply device is configured to supply electrodes to be disposed between the two separation sheets and on a top surface of one of the separation sheets. The one of the separation sheets is disposed at an upper side. A lamination device is configured to bond the two separation sheets and the electrodes to each other. An ultrasonic cutting device is configured to bond surfaces of the two separation sheets to each other and simultaneously cut a bonding surface of the two separation sheets.

摘要： A secondary battery includes: an electrode assembly; an electrode lead; a battery case with an accommodation portion for the electrode assembly and a sealing portion sealing the accommodation portion; and a lead film. The sealing portion includes a connection-sealing region connected to the accommodation portion, a front end-sealing region, and a reinforcement-sealing region therebetween. The reinforcement-sealing region includes a compressed surface, provided in the sealing portion between the connection-sealing region and the front end-sealing region and recessed into the sealing portion, and raised surfaces, provided in the sealing portion between the connection-sealing region and the compressed surface and between the front end-sealing region and the compressed surface and each of which is formed thicker than the compressed surface. The battery case has a resin layer, a metal layer, and an insulating layer. The resin layer of the raised surface is formed thicker than the resin layer of the compressed surface.

摘要： An ultrasonic welding device for a secondary battery is provided. The ultrasonic welding device is configured to weld an overlapping surface of an electrode tab and an electrode lead in an electrode assembly. The ultrasonic welding device includes an anvil on which the overlapping surface of the electrode tab and the electrode lead are disposed. A horn is configured to apply ultrasonic waves to the overlapping surface of the electrode tab and the electrode lead while pressing the overlapping surface. The overlapping surface is disposed on the anvil. An electrode tab measuring part is configured to measure a thickness of the electrode tab disposed on the overlapping surface. A pressure adjusting device is configured to adjust a pressure applied to the overlapping surface by the anvil and the horn according to the thickness value of the electrode tab. The thickness value is measured by the electrode tab measuring part.

摘要： An electrode assembly manufacturing apparatus includes an electrode sheet supply unit for supplying an electrode sheet on which electrode mixture coating and non-coating portions are formed, a cutting unit at the rear of the supply unit for forming an electrode tab at the electrode sheet, and a lamination unit at the rear of the supply unit and configured to laminate positive and negative electrodes stacked with a separator between them. A cutting unit die supports the electrode sheet and an ultrasonic cutter spaced from the die forms the tab. A cutting line of a cutting edge of the cutter corresponds to a periphery of a unit electrode in a tab forming direction. The cutting and lamination units are on the same line in a continuous process to reduce a necessary space for electrode assembly manufacture and prevent electrode sheet foil deformation and electrode mixture layer damage in the cut section.
