Abstract: The present disclosure a method of transmitting a signal by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising: mapping data to a symbol having a first phase value; determining a beam direction for the data, the UE comprising an antenna array composed of a plurality of antenna elements, and a phase value of each of the plurality of antenna elements being determined based on the determined beam direction; determining each antenna element indication value corresponding to each of the plurality of antenna elements based on the phase value of each of the plurality of antenna elements; generating a beam for data transmission based on each antenna element indication value; and transmitting the data through the generated beam.

Abstract: A method for receiving, by a terminal, a signal for a beam search in a wireless communication system, according to an embodiment of the present specification, comprises the steps of: receiving a beam search signal (BSS); determining a reception beam (Rx beam) on the basis of the BSS; and receiving a downlink signal on the basis of the Rx beam, wherein the BSS is transmitted on the basis of a specific port that is different from a port related to the transmission of the downlink signal, and the BSS is transmitted on the basis of at least one antenna array configured exclusively for the specific port from among a plurality of antenna arrays.
