Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a clothes treating apparatus having a hot air supply device and an operating method thereof, and according to an aspect of the present disclosure, a clothes treating apparatus may include a drum configured to accommodate an object to be dried; a linear valve configured to linearly adjust the amount of supplied gas; a burner configured to burn gas supplied by the linear valve; a hot air supply device configured to supply hot air heated by the burner into the drum; a temperature sensor configured to measure the temperature of air exhausted from the drum; and a control means configured to adjust the amount of gas supplied to the burner based on a temperature measured by the temperature sensor, wherein the control means partitions a drying process into a plurality of sections based on a temperature change of the exhaust air, and varies a gas supply amount for each section.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a laundry treatment machine. The laundry treatment machine according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a casing; a door attached to the casing; a washing tub disposed inside the casing; a heating unit; a blower for supplying to the washing tub; a temperature detector for detecting a temperature of the washing tub; a motor for rotating the washing tub; a driving unit for driving the motor; and a controller to control the blower to operate in a first drying mode, and to control the heating unit to intermittently output a first power during a first period after the operation of the blower while controlling an operating time of the heating unit to increase during the first period. Accordingly, the power consumption can be reduced while reducing the drying period in the drying mode.

The defrosting device also includes a heat pipe disposed adjacent to an evaporator to transfer heat to the evaporator while circulating working fluid heated by the active heating part, the heat pipe including an entrance portion configured to receive working fluid evaporated by the active heating part, and a return portion connected adjacent to the passive heating part and configured to receive working fluid that has condensed after circulating through the heat pipe. Condensed working fluid received at the heating unit first passes through the passive heating part before being reheated at the active heating part.
