    摘要： A thermally conductive base member and a method of assembly are provided. The thermally conductive base member includes first and second metal base members, and a top plate. The first metal base member has a first bottom plate, first and second female coupling portions, and first and second rib portions. The second metal base member has a second bottom plate, a first male coupling portion, and first and second rib portions. The first male coupling portion is disposed in and coupled to the first female coupling portion. The top plate is coupled to a top surface of the first female coupling portion, a top surface of the second female coupling portion, and the first and second rib portions of the first metal base member such that a first flow channel is defined between the first and second rib portions of the first metal base member and the top plate.

    摘要： A battery pack having a first battery cell, a first cooling fin, and a housing is provided. The first cooling fin has a rectangular-shaped sheet, and at least first, second, and third tabs disposed perpendicular to first and second major surfaces of the first battery cell. A first side of the rectangular-shaped sheet of the first cooling fin contacts the first major surface of the first battery cell. The first battery cell and the first cooling fin are disposed within an interior region of the housing. The housing has a first flow path within the interior region between a top edge of the first battery cell and a top wall of the housing, such that air flowing through the first flow path contacts the first, second, and third tabs of the first cooling fin to conduct heat energy away from the first cooling fin to reduce a temperature level of the first battery cell.

    摘要： A battery cell assembly includes a pouch-type battery cell having a battery member, an external housing, and first and second electrical terminals. The external housing has a central housing portion and a peripheral lip member extending around a periphery of the central housing portion. The central housing portion encloses the battery member therein. The first and second electrical terminals are electrically coupled to the battery member and extend outwardly from the peripheral lip member. The assembly further includes a first tube disposed against the peripheral lip member of the external housing. The peripheral lip member extends around the first tube such that the first tube is at least partially disposed within a first interior region defined by the peripheral lip member.

The sheet member has first and second flow channels extending substantially parallel to one another. The first flow channel is disposed closer to a first longitudinal edge of the sheet member than the second flow channel. The first flow channel has a first cross-sectional area and a coolant flowing through the first flow channel having a first velocity. The second flow channel has a second cross-sectional area that is less than the first cross-sectional area of the first flow channel such that the coolant flowing through the second flow channel has a second velocity that is greater than the first velocity.
