Abstract: A solid electrolyte membrane for a solid-state battery and a battery comprising the same is provided. The battery may comprise lithium metal as a negative electrode active material. The solid electrolyte membrane comprises an inhibiting layer, which is preferably capable of inhibiting growth of lithium dendrite, because it includes an effective amount of a dendrite growth-inhibiting material, which is capable of ionizing lithium deposited in the form of metal. Thus, when lithium metal is used as a negative electrode for a solid-state battery comprising the solid electrolyte membrane, it is possible to delay and/or inhibit growth of lithium dendrite, and thus to effectively prevent an electrical short-circuit caused by dendrite growth.

Abstract: Provided is a solid electrolyte membrane including a support member, such as a porous sheet, embedded in an electrolyte membrane, wherein the support member is coated with an inhibiting material for inhibiting growth of lithium dendrite. Thus, the solid electrolyte membrane has excellent physical strength, such as puncture strength, and improved durability. In addition, the solid electrolyte membrane has an effect of inhibiting lithium dendrite growth. Thus, when the solid electrolyte membrane is applied to a lithium metal battery including lithium metal as a negative electrode material, there is provided an effect of improving the life characteristics of the battery.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a solid electrolyte membrane including a polymer electrolyte material and a porous polymer sheet which form a composite with each other in such a manner that the pores of the porous polymer sheet filled with the polymer electrolyte material, and a method for manufacturing the same. Since the porous polymer material and the solid electrolyte material form a composite with each other, it is possible to obtain a solid electrolyte membrane having excellent strength and a small thickness of 50 μm or less, and thus to improve the energy density of a battery.

Abstract: A composite electrolyte membrane according to the present disclosure includes a phase change layer on a surface in contact with an electrode, for example, a positive electrode. The phase change layer includes a filler, and a physically isolated area between the positive electrode and the composite electrolyte membrane, known as a dead space, is filled with the filler that is liquefied by heat resulting from the increased internal temperature of the battery, thereby reducing the interfacial resistance between the electrolyte membrane and the electrode.
