Abstract: A gas production system that can supply liquefied gas obtained by rectifying source gas as product gas continuously with high heat efficiency without using a machine that has a risk of contamination like a pump. A gas production system includes a single pressure device having a single pressurized container to which liquefied gas extracted from a rectification unit is supplied, a pressure line for extracting and vaporizing a part of the liquefied gas in the pressurized container and returning the part of the liquefied gas to the pressurized container, and a second heat exchange unit that is disposed in the pressure line, and a liquefied gas storage unit that stores liquefied gas which is led out from the pressurized container.

Abstract: A nitrogen production system that can produce high purity nitrogen containing a desired concentration of oxygen and ultrahigh purity nitrogen containing a desired concentration of argon in a single rectifying column while restraining increase in electric power consumption and a production process thereof are provided. The method can include the steps of rectifying a cooled and compressed air stream in the rectifying column; withdrawing the ultrahigh purity nitrogen stream from a top portion of the nitrogen rectifying column, warming the ultrahigh purity nitrogen stream in a heat exchanger, and then recovering the ultrahigh purity nitrogen stream from the heat exchanger; and withdrawing a high purity nitrogen stream from a rectification section of the nitrogen rectifying column, warming the high purity nitrogen stream in the heat exchanger, and then recovering the high purity nitrogen stream from the heat exchanger.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for cooling and compressing a fluid to produce a low-temperature compressed fluid that can efficiently use the cold of LNG and reduce the energy needed, the apparatus using a Rankine cycle system having a first compression device, a first heat exchanger, an expansion device, a second heat exchanger, and a first flow passageway for guiding the heat transfer medium from the second heat exchanger to the first compression device; and at least one second compression device that is coupled to the expansion device, wherein at the second heat exchanger, a low-temperature LNG and the heat transfer medium undergo heat transfer, wherein at the first heat exchanger, a fed material gas and the heat transfer medium undergo heat transfer to produce a low-temperature fluid from the material gas, and the low-temperature fluid is compressed at the second compression device to produce a low-temperature compressed fluid.

Abstract: An apparatus for producing product nitrogen gas and product argon, comprising: a first rectification column into which raw air is introduced; a second rectification column from which product nitrogen gas is drawn; a third rectification column from which product argon gas is drawn; and a first condenser configured to perform heat exchange between a gas accumulated in a column top portion of the first rectification column, and a liquid accumulated in a column bottom portion of the second rectification column, wherein an intermediate portion gas containing nitrogen is drawn from an intermediate portion of the second rectification column and merged with a condenser gas drawn from the first condenser. The merged gases are expanded and cooled by means of an expansion turbine whereby the cold thereof is utilized.
