    摘要： Golf club heads with ribs are described herein. A golf club head comprises a first rib protruding from an interior surface of the club head, and a second rib protruding from the interior surface of the club head. The first rib comprises a first axis and the second rib comprises a second axis; wherein the first and second rib axes intersect each other forward the front end of the club head body. The club head further comprises a first side rib protruding from the interior surface of the heel end, and a second side rib protruding from the interior surface of the toe end. The first side rib and the second side rib generally extend in a front end to rear end direction, and can be linear or curvilinear. The ribs provide structural support and sound control for the club head.

    摘要： Embodiments of golf club heads comprising a face with a variable thickness to improve the durability in the club head, increase ball speed, and increase characteristic time (CT) are described herein. The face comprises thickened and thinned regions. The face includes a perimeter thickened region positioned near a perimeter of the face, a thinned region positioned inward of the perimeter thickened region toward a center of the face, and a central thickened region positioned over the center of the face. The combination of the thickened and thinned regions of the face increase ball speed and further increase or maximize CT without sacrificing durability.

    摘要： Embodiments of an iron-type golf club head comprising an L-shaped faceplate configured for flexibility are described herein. The L-shaped faceplate comprises a strike face portion and a sole return that wraps around a leading edge of the golf club head. In some embodiments, the L-shaped faceplate further comprises a top rail extension and a toe extension that extend to the peripheries of the golf club head. The golf club head comprises a rear body configured to receive the L-shaped faceplate to form a hollow interior cavity. The rear body comprises a sole ledge configured to receive the sole return. In some embodiments, the golf club head further comprises a weight pad that overhangs a portion of the sole return. In some embodiments, the golf club head further comprises dynamic lofting features that increase the bending in the rear body.
