    摘要: A melt furnace including a first reservoir, a second reservoir, a holding reservoir, and a control system including a controller is provided. The first reservoir and the second reservoir are in fluid communication with the holding reservoir to flow molten materials to the holding reservoir. The controller is in communication with a first material level sensor, a second material level sensor, a holding reservoir temperature sensor, and a molten material level sensor assembly. The controller is adapted to adjust an output level of at least one of the first reservoir melt burner and the second reservoir melt burner based, at least in part, on one or more received signals to control the flow of molten materials from the first reservoir and the second reservoir to maintain a level of molten material in the holding reservoir.

    摘要: This invention is a process for the passivation or deactivation with resp to oxygen of a carbonaceous material by the exposure of the carbonaceous material to an oxygenated gas in which the oxygenated gas pressure is increased from a first pressure to a second pressure and then the pressure is changed to a third pressure. Preferably a cyclic process which comprises exposing the carbonaceous material to the gas at low pressure and increasing the pressure to a second higher pressure and then returning the pressure to a lower pressure is used. The cycle is repeated at least twice wherein the higher pressure may be increased after a selected number of cycles.

    摘要: A generally sealed container storage and cooling chamber is disposed beneath the top surface of a piece of furniture. A container transport device is disposed in the chamber and is adapted to present one container at a time to a vertically oriented delivery device. The delivery device comprises a generally cylindrical vertical guide channel having a container release opening in its side and which communicates with the transport device. The top of the guide channel forms an access opening in the top surface of the furniture. A feed piston is slideably mounted in the guide channel and is movable between a lowered and a raised position. When the piston is in its raised position, its side wall blocks the container release opening, and its top wall forms a support for a beverage container and may also complete the top furniture surface. When the piston is in its lowered position, a beverage container is delivered by gravity through the release opening and onto the piston top wall. A motive device is provided to lower the piston into container receiving position and to then raise the piston and beverage container to provide access by the user to the beverage. The top wall of the piston may be positioned flush, above or below the top furniture surface.

The apparatus includes a molten metal reservoir having a first open end in fluid communication with a die casting mold and a second open end. The molten metal reservoir includes at least one first cooling fluid path positioned about at least a portion of an outer surface of the molten metal reservoir and in thermal contact with the molten metal reservoir. The apparatus further includes a plunger sized to fit within the second open end. The plunger includes a plunger tip and a second cooling fluid path defined within the plunger tip and in thermal contact with the molten metal reservoir. A plurality of thermal actuators are also provided. Each of the plurality of thermal actuators controls a volume of cooling fluid flowing through one first cooling fluid path of the at least one first cooling fluid path or the second cooling fluid path.
