摘要: A disclosed apparatus may include (1) a power enclosure electrically coupled to a power supply module of a computing device, (2) a power connector that (A) is electrically coupled to a power cable that facilitates carrying electric current to the power supply module via the power enclosure and (B) is dimensioned to mate with the power enclosure, and (3) at least one power switch that (A) is electrically coupled to the power enclosure, (B) is configured to be engaged by at least one feature of the power connector while the power connector is fully mated with the power enclosure, and when engaged by the feature of the power connector, (C) enables electric current to flow from the power connector to the power supply module via the power enclosure. 摘要: A device may select a power supply module (PSM), from a plurality of PSMs that operate in a current sharing mode, for performing a health check. The device may perform the health check on the selected PSM by iteratively modifying an output voltage of the selected PSM and monitoring for a corresponding modification in an output current of the selected PSM. The device may determine whether the selected PSM is capable of delivering a particular load without a failure based on performing the health check. The device may perform an action based on whether the selected PSM is capable of delivering the particular load without the failure.

摘要: A device may include a power supply module (PSM). The PSM may receive information regarding one or more programmable restrictions associated with a power supply. The PSM may receive a measurement of voltage associated with the power supply. The PSM may determine a current associated with the power supply based on the one or more programmable restrictions, the measurement of voltage, and a first amount of power associated with the power supply. The PSM may cause a load associated with the power supply to be adjusted based on determining the current without removing power for a connection between the power supply and a power source associated with the power supply. The PSM may cause the power supply to provide a second amount of power based on causing the load associated with the power supply to be adjusted.
