Abstract:
A dual wavelength laser is disclosed for use in dental therapeutic applications. The dual wavelength laser includes a laser cavity in which a laser crystal is disposed and preferably the laser crystal is an Nd:YAG laser, which, upon excitation, lases at two different wavelengths, each of which has a different gain. A shutter, or alternatively an optical filter, is selectively disposed within the optical path of the laser crystal whereupon the higher gain wavelength is selectively suppressed. Thus, with the shutter or optical filter removed from the optical path, the laser lases at its higher gain wavelength. Conversely, with the shutter or filter positioned within the optical path, the higher gain wavelength is effectively suppressed so that the laser crystal lases at the lower gain wavelength.
Abstract:
A knifeback for mounting a plurality of sickle cutting sections along a length of the knifeback. The knifeback includes an elongated knifeback bar comprising a first bar surface and a second bar surface. A plurality of bar apertures extending through the first and second bar surfaces are arranged to facilitate side-by-side mounting of the sickle cutting sections. A plurality of annular mounts are along the first bar surface. Each of the annular mounts is offset from and in surrounding relation of a respective member of the plurality bar apertures.
Abstract:
A measurement arrangement comprising a flexible disposable container and a disposable measurement probe for measuring an analytical property of a medium. The measurement probe is mounted on an inside wall of the disposable container and comprises a sensing element extending into the container, which is ready to use and which produces reliable measurement results. The disposable measurement arrangement comprises a closed capsule containing a buffer solution and a tether connecting said capsule to said probe. The container, the measurement probe, the capsule and the buffer solution are sterilized. The sensing element is inserted in the buffer solution during storage and the capsule is removed from the sensing element during measurement operation.

Abstract:
A concave section for a harvester includes a concave body having an upstream side, a downstream side, a leading end and a trailing end. The concave body defines an arcuate crop engagement face facing radially inwardly. A plurality of crop passage openings are defined through the arcuate crop engagement face. A cover is configured to at least partially cover at least some of the crop passage openings. The cover is carried by the concave body and is movable thereon between at least two different positions to adjust a degree of openness of at least some of the crop passage openings.
Abstract:
A sickle bar assembly is provided including a sickle bar for mounting a plurality of sickle cutting sections along a length of the sickle bar. The sickle bar has a first bar surface and a second bar surface. A bar thickness is defined between the first bar surface and the second bar surface. A plurality of bar apertures extend through the first and second bar surfaces and are arranged to facilitate mounting of the sickle cutting sections. The first bar surface includes a non-flat surface region comprising a plurality of indentations formed therein.
Abstract:
A flowmeter suitable for replacement of differential pressure flowmeters comprising: a primary flow sensor, sensor electronics for proving a measurement signal; a signal processing unit for determining the flow, which can be set to produce a signal proportional to the flowrate or the square of the flowrate; and an output signal generator for generating an output signal proportional to the signal of the signal processing unit.
