摘要： An unblocking roller for removing excess material from the openings of cells of a honeycomb core is disclosed. The unblocking roller includes a cylindrical core having a center axis and a plurality of clusters each comprising a plurality of bristles. Each of the plurality of bristles of each cluster is coupled to the core at a first end and projecting outward from the core. Each bristle projects a minimum of a first distance from the core. Each cluster is separated from adjacent clusters by at least a second distance that is at least 20% of the first distance.

The system includes a support surface configured to position the honeycomb core, a mounting plate configured to move along a defined path proximate to the top surface of the honeycomb core when positioned on the support surface, and a first nozzle coupled to the mounting plate. The first nozzle is configured to apply a marking material to a portion of the top face of the honeycomb core as the mounting plate passes along the defined path.

摘要： A control system for an aircraft including a passive feedback arrangement, a stick and a positioning arrangement is provided that provides for user adjustability of the resistance applied to the stick, such as in a fly-by-wire system. The passive feedback arrangement is movable relative to a mechanical ground. The stick is moveable relative to the mechanical ground and the passive feedback arrangement. The passive feedback arrangement acts on the stick to resist movement of the stick relative to the passive feedback arrangement. This resistance provides passive feedback to the pilot for the fly-by-wire system. The positioning arrangement is coupled to the passive feedback arrangement for adjusting the position of the passive feedback arrangement relative to the mechanical ground in response to movement of the stick relative to the mechanical ground.

摘要： A hysteresis slip clutch having an adjustable stall torque is provided. The clutch components include first and second rotors, with a housing at least partially enclosing the rotors. An annular permanent magnet is rigidly mounted on the first rotor and an annular hysteresis sleeve is rigidly mounted to the second rotor. The first and second rotors are mounted within the housing such that the magnet and hysteresis sleeve are concentrically located and axially aligned with one another within the housing. In this orientation, magnetic flux from the magnet penetrates the hysteresis sleeve and magnetic hysteresis developed within the hysteresis sleeve acts to oppose relative angular motion between the first and second rotors. The magnetic hysteresis establishes a torque by which angular motion of the first rotor is transferred to the second. A annular magnetic shunt is adjustably mounted to the housing. The shunt is movable between a first position, remote from said hysteresis sleeve, wherein the magnetic flux within the hysteresis sleeve is substantially unaffected by the shunt, and a second position wherein a substantial amount of magnetic flux is diverted from said hysteresis sleeve to said shunt, thereby reducing the stall torque of the clutch.
