摘要: A servo stroking method and system for honing wherein the cam stroking motion is controlled via combined acceleration and deceleration cam profiles to produce a finite jerk profile, a precision positioning capability for the honing element or elements, and accurate position feedback. The stroking motion is synchronized with one or more other parameters of the honing operation, such as the feed or rotational position of the honing tool, for generating non-cylindrical and special honed shapes such as tapered, barrel, and helical shapes. The cam profile can be selected for example from a simple harmonic profile, a cycloidal profile, a modified trapezoidal profile, a polynomial profile, and a modified sine profile, or a mix of cam profiles. The servo controlled stroker mechanism can include for instance a ball screw mechanism, a linear motor, a fluid cylinder, a chain drive or a belt drive.

摘要: A grease gun filler apparatus for filling grease guns from cylindrical shipping containers comprises upper and lower clamping frame members for clamping the upper frame member to the open top of a grease container and having a piston for engaging the inner walls of the grease container with a threaded actuating shaft engaging a bore in a threaded barrel in the upper clamping frame member and operable upon rotation for forcing the piston downward into the container for pressurizing the grease in the container. A grease gun filling port is formed in the piston to one side of the actuating shaft and includes a threaded bore for receiving the end of a grease gun for filling.

摘要: A servo stroking apparatus and system (10) for honing wherein the cam stroking motion follows a cam profile which produces a finite jerk profile for reducing machine vibration and optimizing one or more honing parameters. The cam profile can be selected for example from a simple harmonic cam profile, a cycloidal profile, a modified trapezoidal profile, apolynomial profile, and a modified sine profile, or a mix of cam profiles. The servo controlled stroker mechanism can include for instance a ball screw mechanism (36), a linearmotor (40), a fluid cylinder, a chain drive or a belt drive. One or more other servo controlled aspects of the honing operation can be synchronized with the servo controlled stroking operation, such as the, rotation of the honing tool.

摘要: A hydraulic brake system for ground driven wheels of a trailer includes a rotatable shaft driven by the wheels which in turn drives an axial piston hydraulic pump with a closed loop circuit with pressure control device for controlling the pressure within the circuit for controlling the load on the pump and, hence, the braking of the wheels. The system includes pressurized air control of a metering valve within the hydraulic circuit for controlling the pressure therein and includes air override of the hydraulic pressure for enabling the normally disabled pump.
