Abstract: A method includes generating, by a processing circuit, a building component tree for the graphical user interface, wherein the building component tree comprises one or more draggable building components and one or more non-draggable building components and causing, by the processing circuit, the graphical user interface to include the building component tree comprising the draggable building components and the non-draggable building components. The method includes receiving, by the processing circuit via the graphical user interface, a selection of one of the one or more draggable building components and a user interaction dragging the one of the one or more draggable building components into a window of the graphical user interface.

Abstract: A building system is configured to acquire a selection of a first object representing a component of a building subsystem, acquire information regarding a second object associated with the first object where the information includes an involvement type for a relationship between the first object and the second object, and generate an involvement map for display via a graphical user interface. The involvement map includes a first indicia representing the first object and a second indicia representing the second object. The first indicia and the second indicia are connected via a connector line. The connector line includes the involvement type disposed therealong. The involvement type indicates whether the relationship between the first object represented by the first indicia and the second object represented by the second indicia is a referential involvement, a command involvement, or an unbound involvement.

Abstract: A building management system for monitoring equipment status is provided. The building management system includes a processing circuit configured to generate one or more constants for a piece of building equipment based on thresholds and device specific templates. The constants are equation based relationships between a value and a threshold. The processing circuit is further configured to generate one or more sub-rules based on the one or more constants and one or more equipment points. The sub-rules are equation based relationships between the one or more constants and the one or more equipment points. The processing circuit is further configured to generate a rule based on the one or more sub-rules and the one or more equipment points. The rule is an equation based relationship between the one or more sub-rules and the one or more equipment points and indicates whether the piece of building equipment is experiencing a fault.

Abstract: A variable refrigerant flow system for a building includes a plurality of indoor units, a first outdoor unit, an outdoor meter, and a variable refrigerant flow management system. The plurality of indoor units configured to generate activation requests. The first outdoor unit is configured to receive the activation requests and, in response to the activation requests, provide a refrigerant to the plurality of indoor units. The outdoor meter is configured to provide an outdoor unit electricity consumption measurement. The variable refrigerant flow management system is configured to receive the outdoor unit electricity consumption measurement and activation data indicating the activation requests and apportion an outdoor share of the outdoor electricity consumption measurement to each of the plurality of indoor units based on the activation data.
