    摘要: A high impact and load bearing building panel includes a first magnesium oxide board, a phenolic resin sheet, an expanded polystyrene layer, and a second magnesium oxide board. The phenolic resin sheet is laminated with the expanded polystyrene layer, and the first magnesium oxide board is laminated with the phenolic resin sheet opposite of the expanded polystyrene layer. The second magnesium oxide board is laminated with the expanded polystyrene layer opposite of the phenolic resin sheet. The high impact and load bearing building panel is used for building construction to construct exterior walls, interior walls, roofs, floors, and foundation systems.

    摘要: A magnesium based cement board composition to lower thermal conductivity includes a magnesium based cement mixture and a plurality of microspheres. The plurality of microspheres is heterogeneously mixed to the magnesium based cement mixture during the manufacturing process of the magnesium based cement board. The plurality of microspheres is able to reduce shrinkage of the magnesium based cement board during the manufacturing process. Additionally, the plurality of microspheres is able to increase the loading and strength of the magnesium based cement boards and reduces the thermal conductivity of the magnesium based cement boards. As a result, the plurality of microspheres can create an efficient manufacturing process and a low thermal conductivity magnesium based cement board with an acceptable moisture content that allows application of common paint and coatings without the need for special primers and bounding agents.

    摘要: An arbitrary structural insulated panel and an adjoining structural insulated panel, which include magnesium oxide boards as the exterior panels, can be connected together by a first spline and a second spline. The arbitrary structural insulated panel is first connected to a building floor foundation. Then the first spline and the second spline are adhered into the arbitrary structural insulated panel. The adjoining structural insulated panel is then secured to the arbitrary structural insulated panel as the first spline and the second spline engage with the adjoining structural insulated panel. A plurality of fasteners is used as the final step to further secure the arbitrary structural insulated panel and the adjoining structural insulated panel.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing substantially longer structural insulated panels through lamination without sacrificing thermal efficiency and structural integrity. The method includes laminating an insulating structure in between a lower sheet of serial panels and an upper sheet of serial panels. The individual structural panels of the lower sheet of serial panels are spliced together with a plurality of lower splice plates. Similarly, the individual structural panels of the upper sheet of serial panels are spliced together with a plurality of upper splice plates. The plurality of upper splice plates is positioned offset from the plurality of lower splice plates. The resulting elongated structural insulated panel retains its characteristics due to the positioning of the splice plates and their integration into the manufacturing method.

    摘要: A structural insulated building panel with a moisture barrier seal includes a structural insulated panel, a seal section, a first spline-receiving grove, and a second spline-receiving groove. The seal section is extended from a phenolic resin sheet of the structural insulated panel so that the seal section can be positioned in between multiple structural insulated panels in order to prevent moisture penetration. The seal section is adjacently positioned with the second spline-receiving groove of the initial structural insulated panel and extends into the first spline-receiving groove of the adjacent structural insulated panel during the installation of multiple structural insulated panels.
