摘要： A reservoir pump assembly for use with a container having a fill opening and an interior includes an annular, elongate reservoir casing configured for being inserted into the fill opening of the container and for being disposed substantially entirely within the interior of the container. The reservoir casing defines a pressure chamber configured for containing fluid under pressure. An annular, elongate guide cylinder is disposed substantially entirely within the pressure chamber and defines an inlet orifice and an outlet orifice. The outlet orifice interconnects the guide cylinder and the pressure chamber. The inlet orifice interconnects the guide cylinder and the interior of the container. An inlet valve is associated with the inlet orifice, and an outlet valve is associated with the outlet orifice. An elongate pump rod is disposed partially within the guide cylinder and is configured for reciprocating movement therein. The pump rod has a first end and a second end. The first end is disposed within the guide cylinder, and the second end extends from the guide cylinder. A plunger is attached to the first end and is configured for sealingly engaging an inside surface of the guide cylinder. The pump rod is movable in a first direction to draw fluid from the interior of the container into the guide cylinder and movable in a second direction to expel fluid from the guide cylinder into the pressure chamber. A discharge tube is disposed partially within the pressure chamber and defines a passageway for the fluid to exit the pressure chamber.

摘要： A fluid dispensing system provides a sprayer. The system has a container with liquid fluid, such as used in lawn and garden weed control and fertilization. The sprayer has a handle containing a spring engine and a pump for liquid from the container. The spring engine has a flat spring having a spring band extending from two coils wound on two shafts. One of the coils is manually wound by a crank connected to a shaft on which the coil is connected. The other shaft is connected to the pump by a rotary cam driver. Liquid is sucked by the pump into a pump chamber during part of a cycle of rotation of the other shaft when the coils are unwound and the liquid is pumped out of the chamber during the other part of the cycle of rotation to a sprayer head on the sprayer handle.

摘要： The present invention relates to feeding fabric runs into tenter machines of the kind having lead-in rails adapted for movement to follow lateral deviations of the selvage edge of the fabric and, more particularly, to the drive apparatus for laterally moving the lead-in rails including a reversible driving motor carried by the lead-in rail and a capstan member rotatably driven by the driving motor. A cable member is looped around the capstan member having a first end connected on one side of the rail member and a second end connected on the opposite side of the rail member. A sensor means detects the lateral variations in the position of the selvage edge for generating an electrical signal which is then supplied to the driving motor for reversibly driving the capstan member moving the rail member laterally back and forth according to the lateral position of the selvage edge.

摘要： A lift mechanism (15) for the cover (13) of a portable spa or hot tub (11) comprising a pair of compressible struts (21) and upper and lower hinge mechanisms (24 and 23) is disclosed. The preferred lower hinge mechanism (23) includes a torque tube (25) rotatably mounted through bushings (31) housed in plates (27). The plates (27) are located at a pair of adjacent lower corners of the spa or hot tub (11) and held down by the weight of the spa or hot tub (11). The struts (21) are attached to the ends of the torque tube (25). The other ends of the struts are attached to opposite sides of the spa cover by the upper hinge mechanisms (24), which preferably include brackets (33) that are fixed to the cover and pivot nuts (71) that rotatably attach the brackets (33) to the struts (21). When the cover is in its closed position, the struts (21) incline upwardly toward the center of the spa or hot tub (11). When the cover (13) is in its open position, the struts (21) lie substantially vertical. A stop mechanism formed by pairs of bolts (55 and 61) prevents the struts (21) from overrotating, i.e., rotating beyond a vertical position.

摘要： A device that simulates massage of various parts of the human body by a human hand as closely as possible. The device involves providing two concentric planes, one created by the rotation of a main shaft, at its projection point of intersection with the applicator head, and the second the plane created by the exposed surface of the applicator head. The offset of these planes is adjustable with seventeen degrees being found to be ideal. The applicator head pivots throughout a complete 360 degrees of slow rotation without any turning torque being generated due to the placement of a ball bearing at its point of connection. These applicator heads, which are exchangeable, based on desired size, shape or consistency, are constructed of a flexible material such as rubber, latex, plastic or fabric and form a flexible envelope. Small pellets, or some other suitable material, are loosely enclosed in the applicator head and provide a contour conforming quality to the head. The massage device generates direct circularly rotating pressure without risking inflicting lateral trauma to the tissue of the patient. The device is envisioned to be primarily used from a stationary support stand where the point of contact with the patient, and the amount of pressure applied, can be controlled and uniformly maintained. Although the device can be used as a hand held massage machine if desired.

摘要： A holder for a block of feed is provided by a wire cage having criss-cross wires defining a back, a bottom, a side, a top, and an open front for the cage through which the wildlife can access the block of feed. The cage mounts the feed a desired distance above ground level on a stake placed in the ground and having a closed top end. The cage has a receptacle for the stake extending along and rearwardly from the wires forming the back of the receptacle. The stake receptacle extends along the entire length of the back and has a cross-section complementary to the cross-section of the stake so that a firm support for the receptacle and the block of feed contained therein is provided without the need for nailing the receptacle to the side of a tree or an existing structure, thus enabling the feed to be placed wherever desired to facilitate feeding of the animals or observing the animals while feeding especially for game harvesting applications.
