Abstract: According to one embodiment, a liquid crystal display device includes an array substrate, a counter substrate, an adhesive layer, a liquid crystal layer, a frame portion, and first and second barrier members. The first barrier member includes a first wall portion having a frame shape and provided on a surface of the array substrate opposing the counter substrate, and first pillar portions arranged spaced apart from each other and each having opposite end faces abutting against the first wall portion and the counter substrate. The second barrier member includes a second wall portion having a frame shape and provided on a surface of the counter substrate opposing the array substrate, and second pillar portions arranged spaced apart from each other and each having opposite end faces abutting against the second wall portion and the array substrate.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection apparatus includes: an optical sensor including a sensor base member and a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements that are provided on the sensor base member and each of which is configured to output a signal corresponding to light emitted to the photoelectric conversion element; and a lighting device including a plurality of first light-emitting elements configured to emit first light having a first maximum emission wavelength and a plurality of second light-emitting elements configured to emit second light having a second maximum emission wavelength. Each of the photoelectric conversion elements has responsivity in a wavelength region including a wavelength region of the first light and a wavelength region of the second light.

The light guide includes first and second surfaces and a side surface. The flexible display panel includes a display area on which the light from the first surface is incident. The first polarizer is disposed between the light guide and the display panel. The display panel is opposed to the first surface. An end portion of the display panel is bent toward the second surface along the side surface. The first polarizer faces the side surface.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a detection device includes a plurality of light-receiving elements configured to receive light, and a light guide portion one surface of which faces the light-receiving elements.
