    Abstract: A method for engaging a message recipient includes receiving, by a computer system for a recipient, a message having a collectible associated with at least one predetermined area of the message, wherein the at least one predetermined area has been selected by a sender.     Abstract: A method for managing conversations in social media and networks may include selecting, by a processor, a message posted to a social medium for management and associating a goal with the selected message for management. The method may also include monitoring, by the processor, other messages posted to the social medium for messages that are related to the selected message for management. The method may additionally include determining, by the processor, whether the goal has been met based on monitoring the other messages posted to the social network.     Abstract: An object of interest in an augmented reality view within a display of an augmented reality device is identified. A location of the object of interest is determined. A plurality of markers related to the object of interest is received. Metadata information associated with each of the plurality of markers is received. The metadata includes an indication of a location of an author of the marker at a time of authorship of the marker. The location of each of the plurality of markers is determined based upon the metadata information. A distance measure between the location of each of the plurality of markers and the location of the object of interest is determined. The plurality of markers are de-duplicated to form a subset of the plurality of markers based upon the determined distance measures. The subset of markers is sent to the augmented reality device.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented method controls communication channels in a communication network used for an electronic meeting. One or more processors collect a set of participant data related to a set of participants of an electronic meeting. One or more processors ascertain one or more sets of predicted sub-topics of the electronic meeting and then determine, based on the set of participant data and the one or more sets of predicted sub-topics, a set of leader readiness factors that identifies participants that are best qualified to lead the electronic meeting when particular sub-topics arise during the electronic meeting. In response to detecting that the particular sub-topic has arisen during the electronic meeting, a hardware communication controller opens a communication channel on the communication network that is dedicated for use by a best qualified participant to transmit information to other participants of the electronic meeting.

    Abstract: A method, system, and or computer program product manages message threads. A message server detects a message thread addressed to a client device. The message thread is an exchange of multiple message replies related to a first topic discussed in an initial message. The multiple message replies are from multiple other client devices. The message server caches the multiple message replies in a messages cache, and determines whether a quantity of messages in the message thread exceeds a predetermined limit during a specified amount of time. If so, then the message server generates a consolidated single message that describes content of the multiple message replies in the message thread, and transmits the consolidated single message to the client device, such that the consolidated single message replaces the multiple message replies for display on the client device.

    Abstract: A method, system, and/or computer program product manages content tags of electronic postings. A first weighted tag is received from a first reader of an electronic posting that supports tagging by non-authors. The first weighted tag, which includes a first weight, comprises metadata that describes the electronic posting. A second weighted tag, which includes a second weight, is received from a second reader of the electronic posting. The first and second weights are summed to generate a summed weight of the first and second weighted tags. In response to the summed weight of the first and second weighted tags being less than a predefined value, the metadata is automatically prohibited from being displayed with the electronic posting.

    Abstract: A system for user-processing of data includes a processor, computer readable storage medium, and a program for generating an authorized response to a message in a network. Messages with content that relates to a group, sent by an originator via a network, are detected. The computer system determines that the message relates to the group by analyzing the message content. Members of the group are selected as designated senders to contribute to an authorized response for the group by analyzing the message. Selected designated senders are notified that they are selected to contribute to the authorized response. Initial responses to the originator from the designated senders are intercepted. The computer system combines the initial responses from the designated senders for generating a combined response as an authorized response for the group and sends the combined response to the originator via the network as the authorized response for the group.
