Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically defining a safety zone around a user are disclosed. In embodiments, a computer-implemented method comprises: receiving, by a computing device, real-time safety data including a location of a remote participant device of a user; receiving, by the computing device, real-time driving event data from a remote vehicle; determining, by the computing device, a spatial safety zone for the remote participant device based on the real-time safety data and the real-time driving event data; determining, by the computing device, that the remote vehicle has entered the spatial safety zone; and sending, by the computer device, safety information regarding the user to the remote vehicle based on the remote vehicle entering the spatial safety zone.

Abstract: A processor may receive an indication form a radio frequency identification (RFID) device that a mobile device is in a predetermined area. The processor may send a private key on a first frequency at a first time to the mobile device. The processor may receive a communication request from the mobile device that may contain a public decryption key. The processor may send encrypted configuration information and encrypted state information to the mobile device. In some embodiments, an RFID device, may identify that a mobile device is within a predetermined area. The RFID device may send a tag to the mobile device. The RFID may send a notification to a communicator that the tag has been sent. The RFID may acquire the encrypted configuration information and encrypted state information form the communicator. The RFID device may push the encrypted configuration information and the encrypted state information to the mobile device.

Abstract: In a method for providing adaptive audio guidance, determining, by one or more processors, a route of a computing device, wherein the route is from an initial location of the computing device to a destination. Determining, by one or more processors, an estimated time of arrival at which the computing device would arrive at the destination. Prompting, by one or more processors, a user to input a desired arrival time. Determining, by one or more processors, whether to provide audio guidance based on a determination of whether the estimated time of arrival is within a pre-determined time period before the desired arrival time.

Abstract: A method includes micro-machining a cavity within a substrate, filling the cavity with a medication, forming a sealing layer over the cavity, micro-machining a cantilevered beam from a layer of material, the cantilevered beam comprising a tip for puncturing the sealing layer, and attaching the cantilevered beam to the substrate such that moving the cantilevered beam toward the substrate enables the tip to puncture the sealing layer. A computer program product corresponding to the method is also disclosed. An apparatus includes a substrate having a cavity micro-machined therein, a sealing layer formed over the cavity, a medication disposed within the cavity, a cantilevered beam micro-machined from a layer of material, the cantilevered beam comprising a tip for puncturing the sealing layer, and the cantilevered beam attached to the substrate and disposed to enable the tip to puncture the sealing layer when the cantilevered beam is moved towards the substrate.

Abstract: In one or more embodiments of the present invention, one or more processors receive a fuel sensor reading from a fuel sensor on a vehicle. The processor(s) receive an environmental state of a route being taken by the vehicle to a destination and a biometric sensor reading that describes a biometric state of a driver of the vehicle. The processor(s) determine whether the remaining fuel will be sufficient for the vehicle to reach the destination subject to the constraints of the environmental state of the route being taken by the vehicle and the biometric state of the driver of the vehicle, and then modify an appearance of a fuel gauge on the vehicle based on whether the remaining fuel will be sufficient for the vehicle to reach the destination.

Abstract: Generating a refueling plan for a vehicle on a route including the steps of monitoring fuel consumption of the vehicle and an amount of fuel remaining within the vehicle. When a fuel level within the vehicle falls below a threshold, determining a number of miles remaining on the route and fuel mileage of the vehicle and generating a list of fuel stations which are within driving range of the vehicle based on the vehicle's fuel mileage. The list may also include fuel stations which are outside the driving range of the vehicle which have a service for delivery of fuel to a point within the driving range of the vehicle and at least a price of the fuel and brand of the fuel at each of the fuel stations. The list of fuel stations is provided to a user of the vehicle for selecting a fuel station for refueling.
