Abstract: Provided are techniques for Augmented Reality (AR) based optimization of aggregated power consumption. Digital twin simulation is performed using vehicle data to generate a plurality of possible configurations of a first vehicle and a second vehicle with AR views and to determine associated power savings. A message request to form a group and the plurality of possible configurations with the AR views and the associated power savings are sent to the second vehicle, where the AR views and the associated power savings are projected in an AR interface at the second vehicle. From the second vehicle, a message response is received approving a possible configuration of the plurality of possible configurations to form the group. The group is formed by automatically moving the first vehicle to a first position and notifying the second vehicle to move to a second position based on the approved configuration.

Abstract: A system for three-dimensional (3D) printing. The system includes: a printing head for printing a material including a photosensitive resin; a first ultraviolet (UV) light source; and, a controller configured to direct the printing head to print a layer of the material, calculate an appropriate strength of UV radiation in a first UV beam to solidify the layer, and direct the first UV light source to project the first UV beam at the appropriate strength to the layer, wherein the printing head includes a semitransparent nozzle configured to allow the first UV beam to be transmitted through the semitransparent nozzle.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method, a computer program product, and a computer system for amelioration management of edge computing devices. A computer generates digital twin models of respective ones of edge devices. A computer uses the digital twin models to predict an impacted edge device which has a health issue in edge computing. A computer uses the digital twin models to predict impact occurring time. A computer, based on simulations with the digital twin models, reassign a portion of edge computing loads that originally assigned to the impacted edge device to other edge devices. A computer keeps remaining edge computing loads on the impacted edge device such that the impacted edge device is able to complete the remaining edge computing loads prior to the impact occurring time. A computer removes dependencies of the other edge devices on the impacted edge device, in response to the remaining edge computing loads being completed.

Abstract: Images placed in documents are enhanced based on the context in which the image is used. Context is determined according to document-specific indicators such as nearby text, headings, titles, and tables of content. A generative adversarial network (GAN) modifies the image according to the context to selectively emphasize relevant components of the image, which may include erasing or deleting irrelevant components. Relevant general-purpose images may be retrieved for use in the document and may be selectively enhanced according to usage of the general-purpose image in a given document.

Abstract: A method includes deploying a first robotic system in an area with at least limited network connectivity for communications with a plurality of robotic systems, where in the first robotic system is assigned to perform a task in the area. Abstract: A method for replicating interfaces in augmented reality for missing devices is provided. A processor identifies an expected position pattern of one or more wearable devices in conjunction with an augmented reality device based on an expected usage pattern of a user. A processor compares a current position pattern of the one or more wearables user to the expected position pattern. In response to the current position pattern not matching the expected position pattern, a processor retrieves an overlay corresponding to a use case indicated by the expected usage pattern. A processor renders the overlay in the augmented reality device, where the overlay is rendered in the expected position pattern for the one or more wearable devices relative to a view of the augmented reality device.
