摘要: Technologies for providing hints for adjusting digital media properties include a destination computing device wirelessly coupled to multiple source computing devices. The destination computing device is configured to receive digital media streams from each of a multiple number of source computing devices, process each of the received digital media streams, and output one or more of the processed digital media streams based on one or more output settings and/or or more digital media properties of the digital media. The destination computing device is further configured to determine one or more performance metrics based on an analysis of the output digital media streams, determine one or more hints for one or more of the digital media streams based on the analysis, and transmit each of the hints to a corresponding one of the source computing devices. Other embodiments are described and claimed herein.

摘要: System and techniques for secure wireless association are described herein. A station (STA) may transmit a probe request for the wireless network that includes identification of a certificate. An access point (AP) receiving the probe request may obtain the identified certificate and use the certificate to encrypt a key. The encrypted key may then be included in a beacon by the AP. The STA may then obtain the encrypted key from the beacon, decrypt the key with the certificate, and then use the key to associate to the wireless network via the AP.

In embodiments, a computing device may include one or more content encoders, configured to encode content, a communication module, and a content distribution and coordination engine (CDCE). The communication module may be coupled with the one or more content encoders and may be configured to support a wireless networking protocol to wirelessly transmit encoded content to a plurality of display receivers. Each display receiver may be configured to support a display protocol. The CDCE may be coupled with the communication module and the one or more content encoders and may be configured to coordinate the one or more content encoders and the communication module to encode and respectively distribute a plurality of contents to the plurality of display receivers in accordance with the display protocol and the wireless networking protocol.

摘要: Technologies for managing event notifications on an interface of a display of a destination computing device include a plurality of source computing devices wirelessly coupled to the destination computing device via digital content communication channels usable to receive digital content streams from each of the source computing devices and event communication channels usable to receive one or more event notifications from one or more of the source computing devices. The destination computing device is configured to output the received event notifications to an interface of the display to a user, as well as any graphical user interface (GUI) control elements associated with actionable responses of the received event notifications. The destination computing device is further configured to detect selection of the GUI control elements and initiate a response/action associated with a selected GUI control element. 摘要: Techniques are provided for spatial audio streaming using adaptive bitrate encoding and decoding in bandwidth limited virtual reality applications. A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes calculating weight factors for audio channels associated with each of a plurality of microphones. The weight factors are based on the position and head angle, relative to the microphones, of a user wearing a head mounted display (HMD). The method also includes encoding and decoding the audio channels, for transmission to the HMD, at a selected bitrate, the bitrate based on the weight factor for the audio channel. The method further includes applying an adaptive gain compensation to each of the received and decoded audio channels, the gain compensation also based on the weight factor. The method further includes mixing the resulting gain compensated channels to generate a stereo audio signal to be played through speakers of the HMD.
