摘要: A gas excitation light-emitting device, including a first substrate and a second substrate with a plurality of cells are defined between the first substrate and the second substrate, an excitation gas in each of the cells, a phosphor layer in each of the cells, a plurality of electrodes disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, an electron accelerating layer emitting an E-beam in each of the cells, wherein, for each of the cells, the electron accelerating layer excites the excitation gas in the cell when a voltage is applied to corresponding ones of the electrodes of the cell, and the respective phosphor layer is spaced apart from the electrodes of the cell and the phosphor layer is arranged in a portion of the cell other than a portion of the cell between corresponding ones of the electrodes of the cell.

摘要: Provided is a display device having low driving voltage and high luminous efficiency. The display device includes a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other, a cell formed between the first and second substrates, a first electrode disposed between the first and second substrates, an emitter layer made of a nano-porous carbon (NPC) material and disposed on the first electrode to emit electrons into the cells in response to a voltage applied from the first electrode, a gas filled in the cells to generate ultra-violet rays whenever excited by the electrons emitted from the emitter layer, and a light-emitting layer formed at a region corresponding to the cell.

摘要: Provided is a display apparatus and a method of fabricating the display apparatus. The display apparatus includes a first substrate that allows visible light to pass therethrough, a second substrate facing the first substrate, an anode disposed on the first substrate, a cathode disposed on the second substrate, an electron emitter disposed either on the anode or the cathode, a light emitting layer formed on a surface of the anode, an optical reflection layer disposed on a side of the second substrate, and a gas that generates ultraviolet rays and is filled in a space between the first substrate and the second substrate. The display apparatus can increase the reflectance of visible light since the optical reflection layer is formed in a sealed inner space of the display apparatus, and thus, brightness and light emission efficiency of the transmissive type or reflective type display apparatus can be increased.

摘要: A plasma display panel (PDP) includes: a front substrate facing a rear substrate; first and second discharge enhancement layers disposed between the front and rear substrates and arranged on both sides of a main discharge space; first and second barrier ribs respectively formed on the first and second discharge enhancement layers and defining first and second asymmetric stepped spaces along with the first and second discharge enhancement layers; a scan electrode and a common electrode inducing a mutual discharge in the main discharge space; an address electrode generating an address discharge along with the scan electrode and extending in a direction to intersect the scan electrode; a phosphor layer formed in at least the main discharge space; and a discharge gas filled in the main discharge space and the first and second stepped spaces. Accordingly, the PDP having high efficiency may operate with low power and obtain high luminous brightness.
