Abstract: An electronic device includes an insulation top cover, a middle frame, a display, and a flexible printed circuit electrically connected to an end of the display, where one side of the insulation top cover is located above an outer edge of the display, and the other side of the insulation top cover is connected to the middle frame. The electronic device further includes an electrostatic protection structure, where the electrostatic protection structure is configured to ground, at the middle frame, static electricity entering the electronic device from a gap between the display and the insulation top cover, to discharge, on the middle frame, the static electricity entering the electronic device.

Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. One example communication method includes receiving broadcast information by a terminal device. The broadcast information includes a first parameter and a second parameter that are for a first cell. The first parameter is used for cell selection or cell reselection performed by a terminal device that supports supplementary uplink (SUL) carrier transmission, and the second parameter is used for cell selection or cell reselection performed by a terminal device that does not support SUL carrier transmission. The terminal device performs cell selection or cell reselection based on the first parameter when the terminal device supports SUL carrier transmission. The terminal device performs cell selection or cell reselection based on the second parameter when the terminal device does not support SUL carrier transmission.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose an uplink data transmission method and apparatus. Specifically, user equipment reports an uplink mode supported by the user equipment to a network device by using a capability message, where the uplink mode is an uplink mode for a first carrier and a second carrier of the user equipment. The network device determines, based on the capability message, the uplink mode supported by the user equipment, generates a configuration message, and sends the configuration message to the user equipment. The configuration message includes an uplink mode configured by the network device. After receiving the configuration message, the user equipment transmits uplink data in the uplink mode in the configuration message.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the communications field and disclose an access network node, a core network node, and a paging method, for use in a paging process, so as to resolve a problem that a machine to machine (M2M) service cannot be normally used because a network side cannot determine whether a coverage enhancement technology needs to be used in a paging process. In an embodiment, a communications interface is configured to receive a first packet paging message sent by a core network node; a processor determines, according to the first packet paging message received by using the communications interface, that a terminal is an M2M terminal; and a transmitter sends a coverage-enhanced second packet paging message to the terminal.
