Abstract: A method for transmitting data, which relates to the field of communication technologies includes displaying an icon representative of a peer device as a first state when failing to connect the peer device. A data transmission event is detecting between a local device and the peer device. A data transmission task corresponding to the detected data transmission event is created. When the local device is connected with the peer device successfully, the method includes executing the data transmission task, and displaying the icon as a second state.
