Abstract: This application relates to message sending and receiving methods and apparatuses, and a communication system. A control plane CP device in a communication system in which a CP and a user plane UP are separated generates a first message, where the first message includes route information and a control indication for the route information, and the route information is associated with a UP device. The CP device sends the first message to the UP device, so that the UP device updates the route information based on the control indication, where the first message is a packet forwarding control protocol PFCP message. Based on the technical solutions provided herein, interaction on routing control between the CP device and the UP device in a communication system architecture in which a CP and a UP are separated may be implemented.

Abstract: The present invention provides an address allocation processing method, apparatus and system. The method includes: receiving, by a first BRAS, a DHCP relay packet sent by a second BRAS, wherein the DHCP relay packet includes a gateway IP address and source IP address-based response information; parsing, by the first BRAS, the DHCP relay packet, acquiring the gateway IP address, and allocating an idle IP address from an acquired address pool matching the gateway IP address; encapsulating, by the first BRAS, a source IP address in the DHCP relay packet into a destination IP address in a response packet according to the source IP address-based response information, and sending the idle IP address carried in the encapsulated response packet to the second BRAS. The present invention effectively solve a problem that an address waste phenomenon exists by using a built-in DHCP server in a dual-device hot backup scene.

Abstract: This application discloses a communication method, and relates to the communications field. In the method, a fixed mobile interworking function (FMIF) receives an access request message that carries first authentication information of a fixed network device and that is sent by a broadband network gateway (BNG), where the first authentication information is generated by the BNG based on a dial-up packet sent by the fixed network device, and the first authentication information includes an identifier of the fixed network device. The FMIF encapsulates the first authentication message in a message format supported by a control plane interface between the FMIF and a core network device, to obtain a second authentication message; and the FMIF sends the second authentication message to the core network device through the control plane interface. The core network device performs authentication on the fixed network device based on the second authentication message.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method, a UP device, and a CP device, and pertains to the field of communications technologies. In the method, the UP device reports interface information to the CP device by using PFCP. Specifically, the UP device carries the interface information in a PFCP message, and transmits the PFCP message to the CP device. The CP device can obtain the interface information of the UP device from the PFCP message, which ensures that the CP device can sense the interface information of the UP device.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a tunnel keepalive method, a network device, a system, and a storage medium, and pertain to the field of communications technologies. In the embodiments of this application, before a failure occurs in communication between a UP device and a CP device, the UP device receives tunnel information synchronized by the CP device. After a failure occurs in communication between the UP device and the CP device, the UP device performs tunnel keepalive based on the tunnel information, that is, the UP device maintains a tunnel between the UP device and a remote network device. In this way, tunnel teardown is not triggered because of the failure in communication between the CP device and the UP device.
